Hello! Honestly do to know if people remember me, definitely not any of the new new players. But.......... I'm go by Canadian, or in-game as Canadian Maple. Was once on the server, got hooked, became staff, due to life had to resign. But I might be back? Garry's mod is like a game I can just keep coming back to and I really don't want to find a new new Gmod Darkrp server so I'm back with Aether. You'll probably see me around more often but I'm glad to be back and seeing some old friends here. Anyways ill see you all around sooner or later!

Shrooms were nerfed a few days ago. Each shroom would sell for 30k but the price was decreased to 15k per shroom. Mining was left at 100k per gold bar for probably a month before the jobs were reworked. Now the price was decreased back to 50k per gold bar. Mining when the price was doubled still was not worth the effort it takes and now there is even less reason to mine. Hypothetically if you didn't have to mine for the gold before smelting and only just had to smelt gold you could make 27mil every hour. Currently mining is by far the most grueling job you can do and the pay is minimal to any other possible job. Even if no job is 2x boosted for a day the other jobs still make more money than mining. It takes hours to mine the gold and hours to smelt the gold after you mine it. Right now i have 2.6k gold in my ore bag. It would take me 5 hours to smelt 2.6k gold and i would only receive 130mil. It takes longer to mine the gold than smelting does so you can more than half the hourly rate smelting gold makes to get a realistic amount. Since jouaram don't want to give it fluctuating prices he would have to change the mining/smelting speed or just increase the sell price. If he was just to increase the sell price of gold it would have to be at least tripled to stand a chance against other jobs. Link to my mining buff post
