Amanita is only enforcing the rules as they're stated to be enforced, although it's one damage it has been a thing forever now that unwarranted damage towards other players is to be classified as RDM, based on PW this ban seems fair. 

However, I do think that there needs to be some additions made to the punishment guidelines for things such as 'Nightstick abuse' and other specifics with much, much more lenient punishments so that this doesn't fall under RDM for future scenarios. 

I am reducing this ban to 1 day so you have about 4 hours left on your ban and I'll look into doing a large-scale update to the punishment guidelines. Thanks for the appeal.

You can make a player WANTED over a raid, you cannot make a WARRANT on somebody over a raid advert. The viewing/seeing/illegals is strictly related to WARRANTS and not when making somebody WANTED you can 100% make somebody WANTED over an advert, this server is more about gameplay interactions than RP and this is one of the ways that gameplay between cops and criminals can occur and it's always been this way. 

Other than this issue which is now cleared up it genuinely seems like a misunderstanding and lack of knowledge which I am not going to punish for, I will make sure this is 100% known across the Staff team. Your warn has been removed. 

The harassment issue with Ballsack should be brought up in its own post with clips provided if you feel necessary.

Only if they swing and you clip it, the damage makes it a lot more natural imo

I am pretty 50/50 but since it's so old that you don't even have any warns I will go ahead with the unban. 

Behave on the server please if there are repeat issues similar to the ban reasoning it won't be appealable again.

You obviously are not thinking about how much it'd damage jobs on the server in general if people know they're only going to get miniscule punishments for AFKing and scripting on a job that makes millions from just existing, everything that is generous in terms of money making is due to the fact that you HAVE to be there to make the money otherwise people would (just like this guy) make millions overnight whilst sleeping.

He wasn't just +attack or +left either it shows he is using 3rd party scripts which he 100% knew would not be allowed.

30 minutes is still a long time, if you've made it hell enough for players to want to vote you out then it's definitely more healthy to give players the option to. I disagree that it shouldn't be an option and if it isnt an option then Mayor laws need a massive nerf on what they can make illegal - however I do not want to go that path so I would rather try the voting first. 

Players are also going to want to make money as Mayor so it's highly unlikely all of the candidates are gonna be there just to get you off mayor, in a perfect world Mayors will advertise that their taxes are lower and they won't make certain things illegal to get votes and if they don't follow through they won't be trusted again. If that sort of thing does happen I would say thats a much more healthy and natural way to avoid Mayors who just put EVERY LAW possible. 

This is going to be tested on restart, I am not releasing patch notes or pushing it with an update as it'll depend on player reaction for if it stays in or not. 

I'll leave the suggestion up and let people post their feelings towards it until I can make a final decision on keeping it.

The way I have it set up is an election runs every 30 minutes, nobody can become Mayor outside of Elections so staying alive as Mayor is more important - along with this Mayors can be voted out by another player when the votes are counted to encourage competitive law making and taxes. 

So the Nightstick CD does check for arrests but didn't check for deaths, I have fixed that now. 

Cops shooting fellow PD members should not trigger the cooldown, that has also been fixed. 

I do think the CD I added was stupidly long and didn't deter the actual problem which is multiple cops with nightsticks charging you during combat, I have lowered the cooldown between being Nightsticked from 120 seconds to 30 seconds. 

To combat multiple cops charging a player at once with Nightsticks I have added the 6 second cooldown to not only affect the Nightsticking cop but the attacking player, every time they damage a Police Officer they will have 6 seconds grace period before being able to be Nightsticked.

This can all be tested tomorrow to see if it's better for gameplay, if it's not feel free to make another suggestion with changes you think should be made.

@kaiserandaxlshould be stating any rules/clarifications in the advert that says 'raid me for 5m' if there's no rules or clarifications stated there then they can't magically be enforced after - however I do not see this as severe enough to warrant the 5m being taken from kaiser as he did state it at one point and may have not known he needs to include it in the advert. 

Hopefully this lets Kaiser know how he can enforce rules around 'raid incentives' if he chooses to do them. Thanks for the report.

Based on logs from that day it appears it was a back and forth encounter, the words he chose to use are a bit weird but we can't instantly assume it's racist unless he is saying an actual racist word or in a racist way. I do not see monkey as a slur or with racial intent given the context, sped means slow/stupid and monkeys are seen as silly so even though you view it one way I'm viewing it in a way where he's calling you stupid/silly which may warrant a sit if it wasn't a back and forth thing going on between you guys. 

Either way this report has been up long enough and I've been thinking about if what I've said is correct and I believe it is. Thanks for the report, no punishments' will be given.

How you shoot at 10:00 gives me anxiety, if you can't stop your gun from doing 180s whilst shooting someone then you should probably avoid shooting in public as it's definitely gonna get you banned down the line. 

The RDMs were definitely RDMs and Tango was right to ban you, however there was a false warn on you so the ban was longer than it was supposed to be; along with this as the other party didn't lose anything I personally would've been a bit more lenient and with that your ban will expire in 48 hours from now.

I agree the nerf wasn't as impactful as it should've been for close quarters combat, I have made three more changes to hopefully make it a bit more fair:

• Nightstick delay after being shot increased from 1 second to 6 seconds. 
• Nightstick cooldown between being used on the same player increased from 15 seconds to 120 seconds. 
• Nightstick now makes the cop take double damage with it out so it's now not 'nightstick or nothing' cops will have to decide if its safe enough to use the nightstick and if not then use actual combat tools. 

If this is too much or too little only time will tell with actual in-game interactions being watched but hopefully this gives the nightstick much less use in close-quarters fire fights.

I went through old logs as this occurred on the 1st/2nd March and Swiss was given 0 punishment and had many others call RDM on him as well, also resulting in 0 punishment.

He brought him with the only intention of having the other guy fight/kill him, that's the issue in my eyes. If he banned Swiss for his actions then it's even worse, this was a scenario caused by DylXn.

The ban is reasonable based on PW, your attitude is weird and not remorseful therefore the appeal is denied.

I spoke with Revolt after your ban and we came to an agreement that your ban would be reduced if you took the effort to appeal correctly, you have done this so your ban has now been lowered. 

You will be unbanned 03/09/2022 - avoid using any third party scripts that will give you an upper hand in-game whether it's an upper hand farming, PvPing or anything at all.
