Brother is a minge plain and simple, but I think gooch should also work on professionalism. Doesn't matter how annoying a player is being, when you go down to their level you're just as bad as them if not worse considering you're a staff member. Obviously I don't think gooch has mal intent, but keep in mind that people most of time people care more about how you say things than what you actually meant to say. Your words carry meaning, be more careful.

It's already been said that pumpkins are a free for all in a sense that they are not tied to a player as "theirs" they aren't raidables, or "Stealables" if thats a word. If this is the rules that have been put down for them you shouldn't be able to warn a player to go away, if you disagree, I ask you if Jouaram does a drop of XP Orbs/Aether Orbs, should you be able to warn other players to go away from them so you can have them all? No, they're just a fun drop to get XP/AB, nobody owns them.

Pumpkins should be handled like this in the sense that they are randomly spawning objects that as stated are free for all, I don't think that Jim bob meant to break a rule, nor am I saying that he is because it is up to Jouaram on the outcome, but realistically they are already stated as free for all and so that should be upheld.

For the clip in question of Doom just punching the pumpkin, I don't know if fists can break the pumpkin but they do damage so I would assume they can, you can't force a player to not use a weapon to open a randomly spawning object and call them a minge for doing so, that is idiotic. Sure you can say that he is getting in the way of another player, but with the intent that he is going to collect the pumpkin, and why would jim bob just not walk 4 steps to the right and shoot the pumpkin, like anyone else would.

Anyways, I think the rules for pumpkins should just be updated so a situation like this doesn't occur again, if they're free for all, you shouldn't be able to warn someone to go away.

    Someone chatgpt check this

This is obviously not the work of a chatgpt bot, the easiest way to spot something written by ai is the overuse of words, or the repetition of words to make the exact same point clear, perfect capitalization (using semi-colons, colons, who tf even uses those), as well as the AI would never create phrases such as these, " I'm a cop. Bank gets raided. " "outcum" there is plenty of others, not to pull apart the original post which is actually a good idea Ice Staff does need a nerf. +1

After more thought honestly it makes more sense for hitmen to not have to advert raid as people have said above, a hitman would want to be sneaky and make sure that nobody knows that he is entering the base to kill their target, would this be hard to work around is the question. I don't really think so, lockpick and breach logs aren't really that hard to look through, especially as I know the staff team does a great job using logs it isn't hard to see if somebody is breaking the rules if you can see their timestamps of how often they lockpick/keypad crack. For the workaround of people raiding with a hitman and then not having to advert raid, I see two options if this gets changed.

    Option 1:

Hitmen are allowed to raid, but can only do it alone, their rules stay the same as they can't take raidables, but they just don't have to advert raid. This would make sense in a roleplay situation, because why would a hitman gang up with people who are his friends, or even people he just met to go into a base loud and proud and target one guy, that sounds insane on paper hitmen are known to work alone.

    Option 2:

Hitmen are allowed to raid, and can do it with others, but those people must follow the hitmen rules, they are only with the hitman to help them complete their hit so imagine the hitman simply being like "We do this one silently, no stealing, we're here for the target." Now obviously this option is harder to manage to make sure people aren't breaking rules and don't actually steal anything, but I don't think a lot of people raid with hitmen anyways (I could be wrong I don't know what the hitmen to other raiding groups spread looks like on the server currently)

Obviously, this two options have plenty of nuances which would make the rule harder to manage for staff, but honestly is it really that hard to check a different logs tab than your used to for a certain situation? Not really. These two options would seem like they would be complex for a newer player, but breaking it down, it isn't really that bad.

    Option 1:

Hitmen do not have to advert raid, but can only raid alone, and cannot steal raidables.

    Option 2:

Hitmen do not have to advert raid, can raid with others, but the others must only help the hitman and nobody can steal raidables.

If all else fails and nobody can find a way to manage this, you can still just, make them say it in chat without adverting as anything not in ooc is considered in RP applicable, harder to do? Yes, impossible? No.

Simply put there's no reason that anybody should even be on the edge of of a +/- or a -1, even though I don't think that Ariestios would have the intent that he is going to scam somebody by wasting their time and saying that they didn't complete the challenge in a time limit that wasn't very well explained, it doesn't erase that it is exactly what happened and falls under Low-Tier Scamming. When I was staff I had a situation like this between two players, one who said if you kill me in the next minute, he would give the player a certain amount of money, the player used a scummy weapon that at the time was a 1-shot kill and the player wouldn't pay up due to it, but never specified that you couldn't use the weapon.

Do I think Aries is a bad guy? No, but what came of that situation was either the player could pay up, or the player could take the warn, I think It's foolish to sit here and go back and forth arguing if the raid was completed in the timespan as the timespan wasn't set, and saying "Well you wouldn't have finished the raid anyways because ___ and ___" the amount of copium that has to be running through your veins to do that is unbelievable.

If you wanna make a time limit on a challenge to raid a base, cool who cares, but you, especially as a long-time staff member should be clear on every single rule that comes with it because "Whoever raids raven holm in the next 5 minutes" sounds like whoever gets there first in the next five minutes and raids it wins, not that there is a time limit of 5 minutes when the raid begins. Your intent doesn't matter when you don't explain something well, you end up confusing people which leads to reports like this, even if you didn't intend to scam somebody, you wasted their time by not specifying. Which as I said, falls under low-tier scamming

"This is specifically for when the scamming party is wasting time of others by posting false/unfulfilled adverts like raiding a base for money or hosting an event and not giving out the rewards."

    Greetings, fellow players,

I hope this message finds you all in good spirits. I felt compelled to step in and provide my perspective on the recent accusations against our server owner, Jouaram. It has come to my attention that Akuma, a fellow player, has accused Jouaram of Bitcoin mining with a building sign. I'd like to add my voice to the chorus of those who believe these claims are entirely unfounded.

First and foremost, let's take a closer look at the supposed "evidence" Akuma has presented. While it's essential to consider all reports seriously, this particular case raises significant doubts. The video clip in question appears to be a masterfully crafted CGI creation, skillfully produced to mimic in-game footage. Our server has always been a hub for creative individuals, and we've witnessed some fantastic content from our community members. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that Akuma used his skills to craft a deceptive video with the sole intent of casting doubt on Jouaram's integrity.

Jouaram, as the owner of our beloved server, has tirelessly worked to provide us with a fun and fair gaming environment. He's been a dedicated member of our community, and his actions have consistently reflected his commitment to maintaining a balanced and enjoyable server for all players.

I implore our community and server administrators to carry out a thorough and unbiased investigation into these allegations. I have complete confidence that a closer examination will reveal the falseness of these accusations and exonerate Jouaram completely. Jouaram has my full support and cooperation in this matter, and I believe it is imperative that we clear his name and reaffirm our trust in his leadership.

In conclusion, let's remember what makes our server special: the sense of community, camaraderie, and fairness that Jouaram has tirelessly fostered. These accusations do not align with the values we hold dear, and I am confident that truth will prevail through a proper investigation.

Please feel free to share your thoughts, ask questions, or express your support for Jouaram. Let's stand together as a community and continue to enjoy our GMod experiences.

    Best regards, Praxis

    (Thank god for Chat GPT)

From what I have seen you are pretty cool, I've never had any issues with you, but I don't know if I feel comfortable giving you a +1 as I don't know much about you, and considering that you've just come back to the server, but if your activity keeps up and I see you more and get to know you, I could change my answer.

this guy threatened me in DMs if an admin could sort that out, thanks

In the case of Thog v Jouaram, the Jury has come to a 6-0 agreement, Thog is not guilty of threats in Jouarams DM's, Jouaram will be required to pay the defendant 500m AB for damages to character and defamation. He will also be required to give up the server during a 10 years in maximum confinement prison off the coast of Tanzania. All debts are to be paid before August 7th of 2023, failure to do so will result in eternal damnation.

  10. Watching you fail the easiest jumps in Fangs death run event, I thought to myself, man this guy is an idiot! But now that I've talked to you more and I have had time to really learn about you, I realized I was right.

On a serious note, you're a great dude and I'm glad to see this. Biggest +1 I have ever given.

  11. I don't know any place in the rules where it is stated we are obligated to give you a second opinion. If you are being uncooperative in a sit, we can and will use our powers so that we can make our points clear. Stop acting like you are entitled to getting a second staff member to overlook the sit, all of us our trained to deal with situations and if one staff member tells you something, 99% of the time another staff member is going to tell you the exact same thing. You were toxic in OOC and you landed yourself a warn as Thicc said. Think about your actions before you do them.

For Fang being "unprofessional", I don't understand where you're coming from with this, The powers that were used by Fang are accessible for situations like this, if you have players who will not listen, doesn't matter if it is the person being questioned in the sit or the person who called the sit, you can and will be gagged/muted if you are hindering a sits conclusion. Fang is not obligated to keep you in the sit to watch someone get warned, this information on the warn isn't for you, it is for the player being warned.

Zenie, you're a great kid, but come on man. You know what you are supposed to be doing and what you're not supposed to be doing, and with you texting me on discord saying thanks for the ban, you don't even care. You said you needed a break from Aether anyways, so take the break. If you can't follow the rules you're going to get punished. I'm not going to be more leniet on you than other players. You are being held responsible for the actions that you took. -1
