DarkRP General Questions
How can you contribute to Aether?: I feel like I can contribute to the server by interacting with the players and not being a total ass to them. But when the time comes to it, I could be serious and properly punish a player depending on the severity of their actions. I am super laid-back when it comes to things, but I do try to like be more of a problem solver rather than being a more reactive person.
Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible? (Yes/No): Yes
Are you willing to listen to any Staff member guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to? (Yes/No): Yes
Are you certain you will be able to staff for several hours a week? (Yes/No): Yes
DarkRP Rule Questions
Raids can last how long?: 10 minutes
What initiates a raid?: An advert in the chat
If the owner of the base is standing outside as you're about to raid, can you kill them? Yes, if they are in the immediate vicinity of the base and will cause interference. If they are far away from their base, then no. Do
List 3 default Laws of The Land: Do not attack unless in self defense of you and/or your party members, Do not break into people's bases or steal, Drugs/Printers are illegal.
How many bases can you own per party?: You can own one base per party.
A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: I would attempt to have the player relax and try to get them to cooperate because the situation could be worse if they do not calm down. If they refuse to calm down, then I would freeze, gag, then mute the player to talk to them in an environment without the distractions of other players. Then depending on the severity of their actions, I would kick or ban them. If I cannot figure out which solution to the problem is best, I would ask another staff member exactly which route they would take in my situation.
You see another staff member abusing their power (Give an example of a staff abusing and how you would handle it/who you would contact): An example of a staff member abusing their power could be adverting raid, then no-clipping through the base to kill the player then loot all their stuff for their own good. I would handle this situation by recording the incident, then send it to a higher-up and have them handle the matter.
A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR (What is RDM/RDA and NLR? How do you determine if a player is breaking any of these?): RDMing: Random Death Match, an example would be killing other players for no apparent reason. RDA: Random Arrest, and example is when an officer goes around and arrests players for no reason. NLR: New Life Rule. An example would be when someone adverts raid, then you die and then go straight back to the base to prevent them from stealing your stuff.
