I would like to have the opportunity to staff once again! How do you believe you can make Aether's environment better? I feel that I have a good relationship within the community and bring a positive demeanor to my interactions. I also tend to be on at later times when no other staff are active and would be able to take care of sits that pop up. Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible?: Yes I've Re-read the rules for a refresher. I've also had a good knowledge of Aether's Rules and expectations already from being a long time player. Space for any extra comments you might have (feel free to speak your mind): I know there may be some hesitation with my staff app but would like to reassure I'm ready to lock in and not make repeat mistakes.Rule Questionnaire Give one example of RDM: An example of RDM would be one player killing another player with no given reason or RP purpose. ex. I walk up to Jouaram in the street and kill him for no good reason. Give one example of NLR: An example of NLR would be returning and interacting with the last player(s) that killed you before your "NLR Active" warning shown on the right side of your screen is gone (3Minutes). What sign would a player place on their base to avoid being raided whilst having no raidables?: If a player wanted a raid free base without any raidables inside of it they would want to place down a RP Base sign in a visible spot. If you get RDM'd are you allowed to kill the RDMer back?: Absolutely not, this would be considered revenge RDM and will land you with an RDM warning yourself. If a player RDMS you it is in your best interest to report it to staff rather than take matters into your own hands. Give an example of a Staff abusing their powers: An example of staff abusing powers would be using no clip with no given reason. Another example would be a staff using their staff powers to gain leverage in raid. beware Posted October 28 Share Posted October 28 (edited) After some reconsideration and rethinking, I have decided to change my rating to a +1 Your trello card says you were demoted for a multitude of BAD things. However, that was a year and a half ago, and people change over time and learn from their mistakes. After interacting with you and seeing how the players think of you, I’m gonna +1 this. However, it’s leaning towards the neutral side because of the reasons for demotion and only about a week of recent playtime. Just keep that activity up, stay active on the forums, and discord. With you being a previous staff member you should know how things go, so I believe you’ll be a good addition. Good luck! So your playtime stood out to me because I first saw your application and said "wait he just started playing, right?" I never paid attention to your hours in game. So this caught me off guard. I went to battlemetrics and saw this. Your playtime only returned as of around a week ago, with nothing before that. I'm going to look at this application as I would any new player, even though you're very clearly a veteran. Your forum activity has picked up though around the time you started playing again, but there's a very big gap between now and the last time you played. Now as I'm looking at this as a new player, it's giving me the vibes/impression that you came back specifically to become staff again, as this is the same behavior that has been observed by new players with that exact same goal. Your application mentioned that you were staff before, and I decided to look at the Trello page to see how your staffing time ended. Yikes, so you were demoted due to all those reasons and it was around the time you disappeared?? Onto your application though, it's very slim. I noticed your NLR answer mentioned an NLR timer shown on screen. Which I can't recall being a thing. Your answer related to unraidable bases is missing one of the two answers and a specific thing about said text sign for it to be valid. And your reverse-RDM answer is missing a scenario where you can in fact RDM them back. Overall, I'm sorry but a lot of things here are bringing up red flags, specifically your sudden burst in activity after being demoted for things I wouldn't want to see in a staff member.-1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The - comes in just based off of why you were demoted, it's something that's inexcusable and obviously would take some time to regain trust again. NotYourMomsPancakes Posted November 2 Share Posted November 2 Pecker, I am glad to see you making a return, I personally believe previously you made an impact on the player base by always being a positive person, being someone they could go to when they needed assistance, and always having a comedic attitude. I will say what you did at the end of your staffing career was... Ridiculous. However within the past couple of weeks you have shown nothing but immense dedication back to Aether and seem to be getting along with all of the new community members and ones you have previously interacted with as well as filling out all the application questions with good responses.
