Forcing staff to check to see the last time it was advertised seems like too much. I believe at first we did try limiting it, and then players took it to the extreme and started using text screens as a roundabout so that's when it was disallowed in all cases. It's too much, majority on Aether who are willing to spend IRL on an item know exactly where to look or who to ask.   If you're adverting "Selling blink pm me" and they DM you, then you can mention its for IRL but just don't advertise to where its forced on people who don't care

or jus allowed saying selling blink pm me and then let ppl be able to have convos so we dont speicfy in the advert we can jus tell them in pms if they ask what we are selling it for

so just make a note beside the rule only advert once per hour or sum shit idk 

It got way too out of control with players non stop spamming adverts or leaving text screens all over the map. It gives the server a very annoying look to new players and puts too much focus on IRL trading rather than actual game player. Better to leave it for a more social space like discord
