    I think you've contributed a lot to Aether so far and you know your stuff, you're a pretty cool guy and I hope that sort of attitude pushes over onto your Staffing and you can be a good resource for players to go to when they need help.

    I believe the thread was meant to be closed after this post, your ban was reduced 1 day if you believe this is unjust you are free to make another appeal explaining why.

    You have been involved in numerous Staff Meetings where I specifically state not to stoop to players toxicity/rude levels as it makes you look unprofessional and abusive which it did here. Even if he was mocking you then you should've gagged him and continued with whatever punishment was needed. 

    As the player had a genuine concern about someone being un-arrested unfairly by Staff I would say that's a good time to direct them to the Forums as Amanita was doing, you should not be going back and forth with the player until you get to ban them. 

    I think this behavior is 100% unacceptable no matter what the other party was saying, thanks to Amanita we can now hear Devil's mic and he really wasn't saying anything that warranted your attitude towards him which makes it even worse - the RDM in the sit is exactly why we do not escalate arguments, this was a result of the escalation. 

    This type of attitude from you has been a reoccurring issue but was mainly kept within the Staff team and could be seen as over-confidence, however as this is evidence of you pushing that negative attitude onto players it makes me incredibly disappointed. This will only drive players away the more interactions you have with them. There is not much more I can do to enforce keeping your attitude on a fair level with players, you've been here more than long enough to know I do not approve of handling scenarios like this, also this makes me worried that previous sits you've had where the player didn't bother to report you were likely similar to this. 

    In conclusion I think this is about my breaking point for attitude-related issues with you not to mention the rules you've made up in this appeal such as 'line of sight breaking means you can no longer chase people as police' - I am going to revoke your position fully and count this as a demotion.

    Thanks for the complaint @jay I can understand your frustration and hope you don't see this sort of experience as normal, if you have any negative experiences with Staff going forward do not hesitate to post a report but try and include your voice next time - Amanita's video helped you a lot here.

    They can kill each-other with no consequences as long as both are consenting and no crossfire is happening - however they can still be arrested/have the law enforced on them. The /advert duel is not the issue here it's more so how the sit was handled.

    This is enforced and majority if not all Staff know it's disallowed however Staff are also told not to intervene unless it's targeting somebody/a group of people or someone complains about it, if you make a ticket on people with these names you'll see a much bigger success rate. 

    Thanks for the suggestion, I agree with you that the names shouldn't and aren't allowed but a ticket may need to be made for Staff to realize they have the name or that someone finds it offensive.
