  • Why do you want to be a Trial-Moderator?: To handle tickets and try to make the staff teams "weight" on their shoulders less. To be able to make the community better and in general make it less toxic (not to say it is toxic). To improve my social skills and be a more active member of the community. I would love to help new players get started and show them around. Helping a community has been a small little dream of mine for a while so I am trying my best for this server and community.

Questions

  • In your time being a staff member how do you think you can help AetherNetworks?: I would listen to the cases of both people and punish the rulebreakers accordingly and be a actual good staff member. I would take staff tickets as soon as I see them and help out new players instead of them having a chance to be confused. I am not biased or like favoritism so that will show a good rolemodel for future staff. I would enforce rules and be a good staff member. I will never immediatly ban somebody or punish them immediatly as that would be bad.

  • What is RDM and explain a situation that involves RDM: RDM (Random Deathmatch). A RDM'er would join, get / buy a weapon from a gundealer and shoot everybody in sight. Mass RDM is the same but the RDM'er does it with a ton of victims.

  • What is NLR and explain a situation that involves NLR: New Life Rule. A person (NLR Breaker) would get killed at his base because he is getting raided he would then come back and kill the raider which would break NLR because it hasn't gone 2 minutes yet.

  • What is RDA and explain a situation that involves RDA: Random Arrest. A cop would go to a random person who is for example, standing afk and arrest them.

  • How many buildings can a party own: One building.

Situations

  • Players are arguing in OOC, it is going on after you have warned them to stop. How do you solve this?: I would take notice of what they are arguing about and say which person is right, if it would be political arguing I would warn them and if they would not listen to me after my warning or 3 I would mute them both for chat for 5 minutes or more if they continue after that time. If they still continue I would kick them and if they rejoin to just continue the bantering I would temporarily ban them.

  • You bring player to a sit who is being extremely uncooperative and is ignoring everything you're saying, What would you do?: I would warn them for ignoring me and freeze them, after that I would continue the sit and if they STILL continue to ignore me and be uncooperative I would temporarily ban them depending on how severe the reason for the case was.

Additional Comments: I have not been a staff before so bear with me. If some of the application is... lacking I am sorry I am not a good writer.

-1 Warning for ignoring is not a thing. Taking noticing of what arguing is doesn't matter. Kicking for arguing.

Sorry but you don't seem to know punishment guidelines.

Yet, the handbook isn't out yet so I can't blame you.

Once that comes out, I recommend taking a look at it.

Yeah I will change that when it comes out or if Hustus tells me.

Accepted

I understand that others may not want to give you a shot however I believe with the right work put into you through mentoring you can become a solid staff member. (Also EU timezone helps a bunch).

Read through the Staff Handbook thoroughly, I will initiate you into your Trial Moderator process in the morning.
