That would still be considered RDM. In my opinion this is not to bad of an answer since i was confused as well when I learned that the staff team went away from the ARDM's but the answer is still technically wrong.

You can own 2 bases per party. 1 Raidable base and 1 RP base

 

I would recommend for you to take another look at the rules since you have stated that your from another server. Your answers are very shallow and don't seem to have very much effort put into them making you app feel rushed.

Since I feel that this application could be coming to an end. I would like to once again express my appreciation to everyone that has given their thoughts/feedback on the application. I personally thought that everyone was going to give -1's on this but I am very happy with the outcome and feel that everyone can see that I truly care about the server and am here to help make sure the future of the server is bright.

I would like to also state that I am very grateful to everyone on the server that has welcomed me with all their kindness even if they didn't know me.

Before joining back officially, I was a little nervous since I knew that there wouldn't be anyone I know. But I cannot say that I have had a bad experience with anyone in the community, Y'all have made playing the server fun again.

id all like to put in here that maybe some of yall noticed that I haven’t been as active as i normally am this week. I have been helping my brother at his store while he was on vacation and helped him with an ever as well. The critiques weren't really on me (as state by thegroundisintheair), they were directed towards Goku and I kind of felt like he was getting ganged up on with his response he gave defending me and wouldn't want anyone to feel that way. I can take the criticism and have no issues with them as they only improve a person perspective and abilities to do a task correctly.

Bro 3 people have replied to Goku's response. We all get that the answer i gave was wrong. I wrote this a 3 in the morning and missed that rule. We all dont need to respond to one comment.

General Questions

• How can you contribute to Aether?: I have prior experience in staffing in this server and with there not being a huge staffing appearance in the later times of the day. I see a lot of lost potential for newer night owl players that come into the server and their first experience being MRDM'd to never return giving the server the chance it deserves.
• Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible?: I have read up on the newest version of the rules and see no issue in enforcing them as i have never had the issue in the past.
• Are you willing to listen to any Staff member guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to?: I not issue in listening to a staff and am always open to guidance especially if it helps in furthering the success of the server
• Are you certain you will be able to staff for 5 hours a week and finish 15 sits each week?: I work remote and am sure i will have no issues meeting the requirements asked of me

DarkRP Rule Questions

• Raids can last how long?: A raid is allowed to last 10mins starting from your raid advert
• If a player in your party dies whilst raiding, how long do they have to wait to come back and raid the same base again?: The party member will have to wait out their NLR timer before proceeding to help further with the raid
• What initiates a raid?: Using the "/advert raid | /advert pd raid | /advert bank raid" initiates a raid from within microphone distance and from that advert your 10min timer will start
• If no raiding tool is being used can the player steal the item from a base without an advert?: As long as the raidables are accessible without needing to use raid tools the player may raid without the advert of the raid nor will that player have a cooldown
• Give an example of a valid raid advert (type it as you'd type it in-game):I personally like to put the players name in the advert to be fair but thats me. Regular raid: /advert RAID player123 | Bank raid: /advert BANK RAID | PD raid: /advert PD RAID
• If the owner of the base is standing outside on their base entrances sidewalk as you're about to raid but haven't announced a raid yet, can you kill them?: You must advert the raid from within microphone distance before killing a base member.
• If you get arrested mid-raid can you return after your arrest?: If a player is arrested whilst raiding a base they are unable to continue the raid
• If you get RDM'd are you allowed to kill the RDMer back without repercussions?: If a player is RDM'd they are not allowed to seek vengeance on the RDMer instead should request for a staff member to deal with the situation properly

If the attacked did not, I would then ask the attacker to not do so anymore and give them a warning and let them know if they continue the punishment will be greater
• List all default Laws of The Land: Raiding and stealing is illegal.

  Raidables detected by the contraband scanner are always illegal.

  Harming players is illegal unless you are inside your base defending it.
• How many bases can you own per party?: A party is allowed 1 raidable base and 1 RP base per party
• A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: It depends on what the player is doing that makes them uncooperative, if the player is talking over another player in the sit and I have asked them to wait for their turn to speak 2-3 times, I would then proceed to mute them for the rest of the sit.  

  If the player is dealing damage to anyone in the sit after asked not to, I would then freeze them until after the sit. 

  If the player keeps walking away from the sit, I will then freeze them until after the sit.

• Can you punish a player for intentionally ruining others time, even if they say it's out of fun?: I have seen time and time again that a person that looks like their ruining someone's time is actually friends with the other players and they are both having fun. I would first ask the other player if they are okay with the other player doing so to make sure im not accidentally ruining their time by being a staff member that is taking that situation to seriously. If the player lets me know that they do not want them doing that, I would then deal the punishment according to what the action was. 
• Give an example of a Staff abusing their powers and how you would handle it: If I were to walk to fountain and see a staff member jailing everyone, I would then procced to look for a higher up staff member on the server, if there is not one on at the time I would then go to discord and DM one of the higher ups and tell the who is abusing their power and urge them to get on as soon as possible.
• A player is excessively RDMing, how would you intervene/stop them from continuing and what punishment would you give?: A mass RDMer needs to be dealt with swiftly. I would first take no time to grab them and bring them away from the population of the server to ensure they no longer harm anyone elses experience. If it is the players 1st offense i would give the player a 3day ban, 1week if its the 2nd offense, 2weeks if its the 3rd offense and request a perm ban if its the 4th offense.
• A Mayor enabled a lockdown without reason and is refusing to turn it off, how do you resolve this?: If it is the players 1st offense of doing so. I would give the player a warning then proceed to demote the player from being mayor leaving the chance for a player to become the role and properly RP. If I am still unable to get the player to lift the lockdown I would advert that the lockdown is false

If the prop can no-collide through the map, I'm worried that people will be flying to admin land and placing raidables.

I would support you joining the staff team as a Trial Moderator as I think you have earned the chance at a trial period. You will be watched closely by other staff, so considering your personality is staff material, I think with some mentoring / learning you could be good.

I think it would be a great event, I'm mainly worried about people ruining for everyone and just inventorying the weapon and dying so they can have a free toy gun.

Of course it wont be a perm weapon but I'm sure they wont care.

DarkRP General Questions 

How can you contribute to Aether? I was an Admin on RetributionRP for a long time, so I think I could bring my knowledge of staffing from Ret to this server. 

 

Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible? Yes, I’m currently reading through the MOTD again to make sure I memorize it completely. 

 

Are you willing to listen to any Staff member guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to? Yes, even though I was staff before, there is always something new to learn. Also, I thrive on feedback of my performance so I know what to improve on to make me the best staff member I can be. 

 

Are you certain you will be able to staff for several hours a week? Yes, the only times I will not be on producing hours for the server staffing is if I must work late.  

DarkRP Rule Questions

A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR (What is RDM/RDA and NLR? How do you determine if a player is breaking any of these?  

RDM is Random Deathmatch, if I am getting tickets about someone killing a player, I would TP them both to a sit and take a statement from both players. After I have heard both sides of the story I would them check the logs to see if 1. the accused RDM’r damaged the other player first or if it is the other way around. If he did infact RDM the other player I would first check the players warns to see if he has any recent warns for the same reason, if he does not, I will then give him a warn, but if he does, I will then give the player the proper punishment according to how many warns the player has and how recent the warns are. 

 

RDA is Random Arrest, if I am getting tickets about a player arresting people for no reason I would TP both players and start to take statements, (Example) the police officer says that the other player RDM’d another player and that was the reason for the arrest. I would then check kill logs and damage logs to see if the other player did infact kill/damage another player before getting arrested. If the player did not kill/damage another player I would then check the police officers warns to see if he has any recent warns for the same reason. If he does not, I would give him a warn and let him know what his punishment will be if he does it again. But if he does have warns for RDAing, I will then give him the proper punishment according to the amount of warns he has and how recent the warns are. 

 

NLR is New Life Rule, if I get a ticket about a player breaking NLR I would TP both players and take statements, after I have taken in both sides of the story I would then procced to go to the location of the NLR incident and use the command to check for NLR (I maybe wrong but I am sure its /nlrcheck or /checknlr, it has been a while since I have used it. I'm sorry if I am wrong) if the player were to return to his last death point after 3 minutes then I would let them both know and inform the accusing player that the NLR timer is 3 minutes after you have died. If the accused player did indeed return to his last death point before the 3-minute timer is up, I will then check his warns for recent warns for the same reason. If the player does not have warns I will then give him a warn and inform then on the NLR rules, if he does have recent warns I will then give him the proper punishment for the amount warns he has and how recent they are. 

 

P.S. I know I have not played this server for long, but I do have a lot staffing of hours under my belt from Jouaram’s old server and I am certain that I will be a good addition to this staff team.
