DarkRP General Questions How can you contribute to Aether?: I may not have been here long, but I have honestly really enjoyed my time here, and I would like to help others enjoy theirs. Honestly, I just want to help ensure that everyone has fun on the server. I hate seeing people being disruptive to others on the server, so naturally, I would help keep those people out. I don't exactly have the most experience when it comes to being a staff member on a server, but I do have a lot of experience being a player, I've been playing Gmod DarkRP for years. I've been getting to know those around the community, though I only joined the Discord recently, I've enjoyed being a part of the community, even though it has been only for a little while, I hope to stay longer. I'm not exactly the most active on Discord, but can guarantee that I will be active on the DarkRP server making sure everything is running smoothly. I'm not the most experienced with admin commands, but I catch on fairly quickly. Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible? (Yes/No): Yes DarkRP Rule Questions Raids can last how long?: 10 minutes from the time it was advertised in chat. What initiates a raid?: Doing (/Advert Raid) or something similar to that in chat. If the owner of the base is standing outside as you're about to raid, can you kill them?: Depends on how far away they are. If they are within a few feet of the base, yes, but, if they are further away without a chance that they would be able to kill you when you start the raid, no. List 3 default Laws of The Land: Raiding is illegal, Murder is illegal, Threats are illegal How many bases can you own per party?: Only one base per party. A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: Depends on the situation. I would say that if they aren't listening, and talking over me, I would have to gag them and and try again to ask them questions pertaining to the sit, if they co-operate after that, I would continue the sit as normal and deal with the situation normally by warning them if needed and sending them on their way. You see another staff member abusing their power (Give an example of a staff abusing and how you would handle it/who you would contact): If i saw someone abusing their power as a staff member, no matter what they were doing, I would try to record evidence of their admin abuse and send it to a higher up staff member so they can deal with the abuser. An example of this would be, a staff member putting on god mode before raiding someone, or using admin commands in RP to give them an advantage. A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR (What is RDM/RDA and NLR? How do you determine if a player is breaking any of these?): RDM Is when someone randomly kills, or tries to kill another person for no reason, RDA is randomly arresting someone for no reason, and NLR is New life rule, which means you cant go back to a place you died until three minutes has past. If someone was RDMing i would check their kills in logs to determine who they killed and how many times they killed. If someone was randomly arresting, it would be in the arrest logs and I would check how often they were arresting people and i would ask the people who were arrested about the situation. If someone is breaking NLR, they would have returned to the area they died within 3 mins of when they died.
