    This was considered and implemented to a degree back on ret (back then we just removed a three zeros so say you had 1 bil you would now have 1m) It was a good change in the sense that you wouldnt have to worry about going over the the integer cap but still left the issue of people have millions and new players only have thousands. This was prevented on Aether slightly by having multiple money sinks (which ret did not have once you had a decent perm) but from what it seems its getting to the point where people have everything so there's no money sinks left in place for the people who have a lot of stuff. (which I'm guess is at least 5-10% of the server not a large majority but enough to warrant a change in some sense) The only way i see this being changed for the long run is either the proposed "wiping" of money so to say or either a set schedule of content releases that give people a reason to spend money. (I understand the second option is going to be a lot more work than just getting rid of money but I feel as it would make the majority of players happier since they don't get to see their numbers go away) Jouaram could have help with this from staff members or even players finding content from the steam workshop like me and a few others tried to do back when Aether was made because you cant expect him to do everything and expect it to be amazing with no flaws or oversights. Another option could be what Tango proposed with the whole prestieging thing but i would not give an hp increase or armor increase because all that would do is make people complain about older players having a built in unfair advantage. Giving people who prestieged special perms would be a good option though as it would give people a "flex" so to say. As to what perms those people would get is not an answer I can give as it would be up to jouaram but maybe listing a community vote on the perms people would get from prestieging would be a good idea cause you can get a feel for what most people like and go with that option. (or even then you can implement a system to let people choose lets say 1 perm out of 4 for that specific prestiege to try and please everyone) With that said prestieging wouldn't be a permanent solution but would at least combat the issue as of now till a better system could be implemented.

    This isn't a new issue and is an issue every server comes across at one point or another but I highly suggest @Jouaram get feedback from the very least the higher ups and favorably the entire staff team and the community. Its a community effort required to fix an issue such as this one (so don't just expect Jouaram to fix it and make all of you happy so if you have a proposed solution to the issue no matter who you are I highly suggest to make it known as feedback is necessary) and I know its possible to make the majority of players happy with what happens as long as they are informed and feel as if they have a say in what happens to the server when it comes to an issue as I said like this.

    With all of that said I don't want to see the economy turn into what it was like on ret because even though I don't play anymore nor am higher up/staff member I still don't want to see Jouaram's server fail because I know he's still capable of running one for as long as he did ret if not even longer and I'm sure you all want that too. (sorry for the massive wall of text but its kind of necessary when it comes to stuff like this cause if it isn't fixed to a degree it only gets worse like ret did and everything is in the billions before you know it.) any 600 gold bars homies in chat???

    Custom models are good for rp i agree in that sense, but until there is another type of custom model loader addon created that doesnt lag the server to all hell for people with lower end pcs its never going to be implemented. Jouaram stated that he didn't want to readd wardrobe or outfitter a long time ago back when aether was made and i dont think he has changed his mind much on that choice. As i mentioned there is no other custom model addons (to my knowledge) at this moment that dont cause lag/freezes for people with lower end pcs (which alot of people who play gmod have because it is so easy to run.) With that said though i would be in favor of custom models being readded if there is an addon found that has minimal effect on people with lower end pcs and the server itself.

    Seeing this discussion brought up on aether for like a year now got me like. (No hate to anyone bringing it up but this is like the 20th time)

    i mainly used hlogs for the majority of my staffing and they were very easy to understand and i would prefer them over blogs so i agree with immortal
