  1. Suggestion: An Incentive to drop off printers to bankers instead of keeping them in your base

    How will this improve the quality of Aether?: I think that people more often than not don't drop off their printers no matter how much you advert or ask them to. The nice auto collect is cool and all but, I think that a perma boost on printers while dropped off inside the base or even like 1.5x would allow people to have an inscentive to drop off their printers which would improve the banker job in my opinion.

    I personally think the randomness fits well with the rest of the server-related things, having the income be RNG-related allows for high-highs to go with the low-lows along with being able to keep it a strong way of making money but not ALWAYS the best, depending on luck.

    I think increasing the chance for mining a node as an upgrade option would work well although it will still feel random/RNG related which I believe was your issue. 

    There will be various opinions on this and I am open to hear them, I would like to see what others think.

    Thank you for leaving it up, I can understand the high-high, low-low thought, To elaborate upon the rng aspect further, what I meant by it is that if not progression then better rng for people who have a high level and/or can afford the pickaxe upgrades. 

     

    I hope to see the level or npc in the future if this does get passed as I can understand the progression system not being added, I'll use the format in future posts thank you

  5. So I'm sure that the ones who mine are familiar with the RNG system used for whether or not you destroy a part of the node when mining it. This introduces things such as seemingly invincible nodes and brittle ones mining the same node for minutes or just seconds. This system respectfully feels somewhat clunky and talking to other people who I've seen mining Aether in the ocean, Gold at Train and Iron/Coal in the cave most people I've spoken with feel the same way. I proposed to them 3 things that I hope one of which will help make the mining system seem more stable and less dreadful on the actual mining aspect. 

    1. A progression system in which each node had a set amount of hits until one part of the node is broken, this will allow the player to know that each node will take a set amount of time to mine instead of being unsure whenever a node will break which removes the random part which I don't think many enjoy. 

    2. If the randomness is what you Jouaram decide to stick with then I plead you to add in a upgrade system in the format of level or npc, the level system being that each time you reach the ability to mine an ore, the ore below it gets a increase in odd to break with each hit IE : Lv 50 Ability to Break Iron and +X% to break copper/tin/coal , Lv 100 Ability to break gold and +X% to break Iron (I feel like this would be suitable as it shows that when able to mine a higher node, the lower ones become easier.)

    3. If not that system then perhaps the ore buyer npc can do something similar with both rng or progression system such as mining progression wise becomes (X% faster) or (X% Boost to a certain nodes rng of being broken and etc.) You can even play around with the idea with buffs to the pickaxe while some nerf could go along with it  I feel like this idea could add another aspect to the mining job to provide more options 

     

    Side Note : Maybe a UI with the refiners to drag and drop coal and your desired mineral to make refining less tedious and more risk when having to defend your refiners from raiders. (I know this one is definitely controversial)
