Reason For Complaint: me and young started raiding PD and got all the way to the room before the actual mayors office. youll see in the clip that they have a one way floor that he is abusing and then weapons that you can also abuse to kill people through the floor. you can see in the clip that i was hit well before i was able to even see anyone through the gap in floor at the ramp, so saying that he was able to kill me through the gap that is there at the ramp will not be a viable excuse as to how i was killed. you can hear him only using melee in the entire clip. i then went back to let them know it was a fail base and was met with toxic comments. bitcoin bob should know better, he has been around for ages.

just so it is not lost in communication. the main point of this post is him abusing a weapon and props to get kills, not solely the fail base.

-1 I think that the laws and rules about laws are fine the way they are. It lets the mayor have a choice to be a tyrant or not. I do understand that this is annoying as a player to not be able to vape or something but as the mayor the only other way to really piss players off is taxes. 
 

laws like this also make for good RP. There have been a couple times where I was mayor and I had laws like I was a tyrant and the outcome was a multiple hour long fight against like 6-8 cops and like 9-10 thief’s.
 

i think that the better suggestion to this is to nerf how the PD can make bases. It’s fun having a fight like that when there’s a base that can actually be raided and the mayor can be killed, but when you know that you can not kill the mayor because of an OP base, that’s what really makes the most negative impact on the server.

you have great playtime, youre friendly in game, and you seem to know the rules, but i feel that you could have put more effort into this application and fleshed out the questions a little more. its nice that it seems that you want to get straight to the point with the answers but its also nice to see someones thought process as to why they can or cant do something, or how they would act in sits with players.

im going to say +/- at this moment, if you were to change some things id probably change to a +.

this was your 5th offense for suicide to avoid gameplay but you didnt do damage to the person that called the sit, +1 for having your ban removed. you should have gotten another 15m jail instead. you did pretty much immediately reconnect.

i have thought of a better option which could even be a "builder" job and have like 2-4 people able to use it at a time and they get like 200 props. "cant base" "cant raid" "cant steal" etc. i think this would solve all of the potential issues @TangoDown. thats if it is possible to change prop limit per job. if not, oh well lol.

I have rethought about my option on this, instead of being a “paid package” this could be a cool role that you would apply for on the forum that could be named something like “builder+” and that instead of unblocking more props just give a higher prop count. You could only allow a certain % or number of players to have this role. Upon approval you could make it very clear that the extra amount of props that this role would grant would be for “fun” building purposes only and that bases are still limited to 100 props. I know that this may be a pain to actually enforce if someone is using more than 100 props per base but it could be a good way possibly allow something like this. If I think of better options I will update this comment.

+10 i was just thinking about something like this. i dont like the way this was delivered but im glad its been suggested. even if it was a package like "builder +" or something like that in the store would also be nice. i was just building in the RP area and was saying how i wish there was some sort of way that i could have more props or access to the larger ones. even if its just access to a higher prop limit and access to the larger plastic props would be super nice.

How will this improve the quality of Aether?: i think this would be a fun add-on that could bring some cool RP scenarios to the server. if youre a thief you and friends could raid at night to make it more interesting. having a business you could close it at night and open in the morning. if youre a black market dealer or something like that you could open your shop at night, a DJ could make a club and players could go to it at night, i feel like theres many more ways that this could enhance some of the RP in the server.

this is the first server i have ever played on GMOD so i dont really know too much about addons and what exactly causes lag but i know that theres a lot of addons that can cause it, if this is something that is not worth it because of the lag that comes with it then thanks for the feedback.

you have a previous warn for being racist. this might not be *exactly racism* but it is antisemitism and i would say that this falls under the same category. i have no empathy for something like this. you could have just not said that and disregarded the entire situation but instead you went above and beyond and said that.

i feel like if the lock on is turned completely off, and then making it able to go through walls would be a nice balance because then it would require a slight skill and then allow people to "fight back" against it by just moving out of its path. i know it was intended to be a way to execute hits on base campers and i feel that this suggestion could allow that aspect and also allow the player with a hit on them to not have a 100% chance of death when it comes through a wall.

@Jouaram it seems to be fixed now. i was able to get it to go through garage doors and unbreakable windows earlier and now it no longer does that either. 👍

+1 just took this clip minutes ago.

@Jouaram i wasnt even looking up at him and it went up straight through the floor, i was able to replicate this another time as well. is there a way that that floor can be buffed/thickened? i feel that the glaive going through the floor of the PD specifically was the main reason that it pissed most people off enough to get it nerfed.
