The reason spam chat with these types of messages is two things:

    • Basing is still pretty overpowered compared to raiders, so no one wants to raid.
    • The reward for successfully raiding a base is low in most cases.

Agreed 1,000% anytime I say raiding is unfun, defenders are overpowered, and It's extremely unbalanced people scream bloody murder because they like sitting in OP bases rather than implementing actual raids

  2. -1 as Jouaram said, I've been building for like 8 years and moving the tools around would fuck with me a lot. The argument could be made that after a while people will adjust to it, but if we're the only server doing this, if they're switching between servers they'll never adjust.

Good idea on paper but considering how long people have been playing I can't see people liking the change

Flip side Small areas are impossible to defend, Large areas are hard to defend unless you have 100 props So if you are defending if you only have 60 props you are SOL cus lack of props means blow torch, if you are in a small area emp bomb hits all fading doors and they are in.

Nah it doesn't matter how many props you have, It depends solely on how you build your base. I've made and seen crazy overpowered bases ranging from any amount of props. It's not hard at all

On ret and aether I rarely have gotten successfully raided and I have a multitude of dupes and switch around buildings that vary in size. It's really not hard to defend you have every advantage known to man. You can literally choose when you can and can't take damage from the enemy

  4. Raiding is extremely unfun and unbalanced. Honestly on Aether I don't even bother raiding. Even if I'm a cop and they have illegals. It's just not fun and there's no point. When I try raiding I either get spammed by gas and nitro grenades or they use some stupid OP build. Basing on Ret was 1000x more balanced and fun. Now It's so insanely defense sided that attacking isn't fun whatsoever

  5. Any proof at all?

And from you're statement you admitted to be uncooperative so I think based on what you said happened, a kick was still warranted. If he asked you multiple times and you weren't complying kicking was probably justified.

I demand this staff to be punished or a sincere apology to be given.

This is a pretty weird perspective on the situation, do you have personal issues with this staff member?

  6. It's the same Halloween event as Ret. They're meant to be extremely rare. It's the exact same as last time where candy was very hard to get and you have to grind non stop all day every day to get even just one of the good items as a reward.

My assumption is that just like last time he will also add candy as a purchasable item from the donation store towards the end of the event. He made lets just say, very very good money from people all buying candy from the donation store to get the items. With how much I personally witnessed get purchased, my guess is in the low thousands from this one event.

Less people needing to buy the candy from the store = less revenue so I doubt he'd do it. Not smart to from his standpoint honestly. It worked insanely well for him last time when we made the same suggestions of making candy easier to acquire. He didn't make candy easier to get then and it was more revenue because of it. Can't imagine he'd throw that all away this time around.

To help save performance, make it so only select people have access to wardrobe. (like me)

    😈

You're part of the reason it got removed, Jouaram had said at some point people constantly complained about all the weeb/anime models lol

I mean Bank too 9/10 its going to be impossible to get a hit on a banker or bank guard. But +1 on the OP

Nah, this should stay for good RP. Hitmen trying to break into a bank to complete a hit should definitely happen. Just charge a large amount of money for it you're taking a high risk hit. /changehitprice

  9. Maybe an alternative could be making all of those jobs on the same timer. Be a good boy/girl for a few hours and you unlock the extra content. People who MRDM are probably not gonna wait 3 hours just to get banned. Some will, but it will reduce the amount

  10. Your initiating a raid answer is wrong, I would review the MOTD for that.

Also your scenario questions, you mention immediately jumping the gun on muting or jailing people. Especially for the uncooperative question you immediately said you would mute them. A lot of times, people will calm down as long as you treat them with respect. Escalating a situation when it is not absolutely necessary will multiply your number of hostile sits by a lot. Most of  your sits will be people very angry and only getting angrier / more upset because you are escalating. Just try to have some patience with people and talk to them.

  11. +/-

+Great application for the most part, you can tell effort was put into it and I like most of your answers (great answers for scenario questions)

+Seems like someone who could be sculpted into a great staff member

-I haven’t interacted with you much as you’re fairly new

-get your forum and discord activity up

-if you’re coming from staffing on FiveM, I can definitely see you beIng too strict as an issue to start but that can be fixed with mentorship.

  12. -1

-I don’t really recall ever seeing you on the server or interacting with you

try and gain a bit of a presence in the community through forum, in-game, and discord activity. That’ll give you the best shot at people backing you up to staff.

as for your application itself, your answers could use some work/tweaking. A lot of your answers are in the right direction but not exactly correct.

  13. This might get denied unless you edit it into this format:

    Player/Staff Complaint {LAYOUT} - Player/Staff Reports - AetherNetwork.gg

Also for the situation, It's a hard one. Raiding a base after getting information of where it is located, if it has raidables, and seeing the layout inside, is a really shitty thing for a staff member to do.

However, I don't know if It's really considered abusive, more of just a shitty thing for staff to do.

With how many sits staff take, it becomes pretty unrealistic to expect them not to interact with ANY of the bases/players they've interacted with during sits.

I'm not sure where I stand on this one. I definitely understand your frustration and agree It's pretty bad for staff to noclip in your base, see your layout, if you have raidables/where they are, and then raid you very shortly after but I'm not sure how this would be resolved / prevented.

It's kind of a non-written rule that I've always followed when I staff where if I discovered someone's base or raidables from a sit, I leave it alone and pretend I never found it, but I think that's more of a choice the staff member has to make themselves. It would be near impossible to make that a rule or standard for staff to follow because at the end of the day only they know what they saw / why they raided it / what their intentions were.

  14. Describe your suggestion

Increase the bail cost from $12,000 to AT LEAST anywhere between $50,000-$100,000 per person.

Also, when a person pays bail, the arresting officer should be rewarded for it. Even just 50% of the money paid in bail going to the officer would be great.

How will this improve the quality of Aether?:

I somehow managed to arrest 5 thieves who all were raiding. After all of that effort, someone instantly bailed them all out and it cost them just around $50,000 to do it. $50k is basically NOTHING for 1 person let alone FIVE people getting bailed considering how much money people make. When people are running around with dozens of millions and it only costs $50k to bail FIVE people out, that is an issue.

It is demotivating to see everyone you arrest instantly get bailed out for practically no cost, not to mention the bail they pay doesn't even go to you whatsoever. You just lose as PD.

  15. I can’t find the rule but I’m fairly certain there is or at least was a rule stating that there’s no NLR area when dying to a hit man completing a hit. Meaning you can’t revenge rdm or remember it happened, but can return to where you died and freely go about your day.

When a hit man completes a hit, that’s it. The rp situation is over. There’s 0 reason whatsoever someone wouldn’t be allowed to come back to where they died after dying to a hit. That situations over.

However, returning to the hit man that killed you and then randomly warning him in advert so you can kill him is NLR and Revenge RDM.

Dreadnaught you were clearly in the wrong for breaking the rules to Revenge RDM. Or at the minimum, you loopholed the warn rule to return to where you died and kill the person who killed you. Staff shouldn’t be loopholing rules regardless, it sets a really bad example.

I’ve said it time and time again but 80% of these staff reports are the result of staff thinking it’s okay to take their own sits. @Jouaram are you currently allowing staff to just freely take their own sits and inadvertently cause this many bias situations?

  16. What the hell did you do to form an angry mob of a Citizen, Gun Dealer, Medic, and 2 Thieves??? As a city worker????

Did you tell them you wouldn't fix their sink or something bro you're a menace to society
