Hello! As many of you have probably noticed I've become extremely inactive with the server and Garry's Mod as a whole. I have phases where I want to play the game and where I just don't want to touch it for a long time. I guess that time has sadly come. I will miss every single person on this server. But I can't hold my position and just not be on ever. You may see me around the server every once in a while... Who knows. So I'm a little all over the place for music at the moment. But at the moment I really fuck with Sabaton. But I usually like Classic Rock, Favorite band is Journey (Steve Perry). I also want to make events and things for the players to join in on and win things or overall make people want to stay on the server. I am very professional with sits and take great care with how I handle them. Wither it be suspecting someone that is about to do something. I would !spectate that person to see what they see and what happens first hand before IF something were to happen. I was right there seeing it and how it would play out. Then I have all the evidence from there on out. Obviously I would want to see what the victim and suspect have to say in reguards to what happened. Because they wouldn't know what I saw compared to how their stories add up. Reguardless, I think that I have a lot to bring to this wonderful server! Definately something I wish to get more involved with. Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible? (Yes/No): Yes DarkRP Rule Questions Raids can last how long?: - 10 minutes flat, Get in/Get out Not a second longer. 20 Minutes between raids wither success or failure. Bonus -> If removed from party or kick from party; cannot raid till at least 15 minutes after the removal. What initiates a raid?: - Starting off with an /advert Raid OR /advert PD Raid depending your target will initial the 10 minute countdown. - A killing, Fading Door Bomb, Lock-picking, Keypad Cracking, basically using any raid tool always comes second. If the owner of the base is standing outside as you're about to raid, can you kill them?: - If the owner is outside the base at the time you are about to raid. Summing it up you can kill the owner AFTER /advert raid has been entered into chat. List 3 default Laws of The Land: 1. Do not attack other citizens except in self-defense. 2. Do not steal or break into people's homes. 3. Money Printers / Drugs are illegal. How many bases can you own per party?: - 1 Base for all the party goers. A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: - Starting with Freezing the player or Jailing them before they can do anything that would make the sit worse for them AND/OR Take them to a secluded area of the map away from the majority of the player base; this could be the gm_flatgrass map pasted above the rp_downtown_tits_v2 map. Before talking to them calmly and professionally to see if I can get them to talk about what happened to get both sides. If the players still refuses to co-operate with the sit at hand. I would inform them that there is no place for them to go before we deal with this. If they leave it'll just add to the guilty side of the situation. It's either talk about what happened or get punished for whatever the issue was and for not co-operating in a staff sit. You see another staff member abusing their power (Give an example of a staff abusing and how you would handle it/who you would contact): - A staff member is minging someone by physic's gunning them and annoying them; though it is clear that the player being abused doe's not like being man-handled and annoyed. - I would start by getting evidence just in case its needed. Wither it's Video or Photo evidence. - I would then attempt to pull the staff member aside to talk to them that what they are doing is against the rules and what we are staff members for. If persisting letting them know that I do have proof of what happened and I would take it up the chain of command if they didn't smarten up and act professional for the role. A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR (What is RDM/RDA and NLR? How do you determine if a player is breaking any of these?): NLR: New Life Rule RDM: Random Death Match RDA: Random D??? Arrest -> Basically Randomly Arresting someone. Add "MASS" to RDM/RDA= Meaning a player(s) are killing, arresting 3+ people back to back so on and so forth. RDM Exmaple: Someone buys a weapon to randomly kill someone out of RP/RULES. MASS RDM Example: Someone buys a weapon then continues to kill people at random with no reguard to life. Killing more then 3+ people. RDA Exmaple: A government offical arrests a player for no reason, no cause, didn't break the laws. MASS RDA Example: A Government Offical runs around arresting every person they have in their sights no matter what that person is doing. Also 3+ people arrested to make it "MASS". NLR Example: A player coming back to the place of death before the 3 minutes is up. Also fun fact, NLR means you cannot remember anything in your past life! Therefore you can go back and clap the person that ended your life. Extra Comments: Even if I don't succeed this time in the application process It wont be the last! Hello! I'm sure as most people that frequently play the server have noticed. I started playing this server well over a week ago. Clearly like it enough to do all the math for the jobs to see which ones make the most money. But that's server aside! I am truly a Canadian yes. I get asked about once ever time I get on any game; near Toronto, ON. I have loved Garry's Mod since I've been in High School... Now I've graduated College. Recently got back into Garry's Mod after taking a well deserved break from Rainbow 6 Siege. But Gmod about 6,403 hrs NOT AFK. I usually don't AFK in games for long periods of time. Don't find the point too. Which is why my play time on the server is probably really low. About 2d 22hrs 32m, But slowly Ill get to about a week. I do work now, extremely hard to keep track of hours and long days. So I will be on/off the server frequently. But I still got plans on working towards the staff team. I usually play Darkrp more then anything. I would also just go for staff. I prefer helping the server grow and stop people from ruining the fun for others. Chances are if I were to become staff Ill actually play the server just to take calls and help out the players. I've been staff for many DarkRP servers which I am going to assume are no longer alive to this day. X52 - Super Admin (Ret.) Metal Gaming - Staff Manager (Ret.) SinfulRP - Senior Administrator (Ret.) Typhon Networks (1944RP) - Administrator (Ret.) But! I promise ill play this server more first and get good likes from everyone all-round! I don't think there is a person on the server the dislikes me... yet, Cause lets be real people will start to hate for their own reasons and we can't stop that. I only got one solid way for people who have less gaming pc's / laptops to increase FPS on the server. Apart from the obvious turn game graphics down. But if you go into console in Garry's Mod and type... r_3dsky 0 (Turn off the 3d skybox I BELIEVE) This will drastically improve FPS for yourself while playing the server! Anyone else have tips & tricks. Leave a comment down below for others!
