Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible?: yes, indeed. Are you willing to listen to any Staff member guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to?: of course, in fact I would like to have a helping hand guiding me through out stuff I would like to do during my free time, this is literally the only server i play on all day and all night and having someone help me through new territory would be great! Are you certain you will be able to staff for several hours a week?: most defiantly, and, if I must, I could notify when I wont be available. DarkRP Rule Questions Raids can last how long?: 10 minutes If a player in your party dies whilst raiding, how long do they have to wait to come back and raid the same base again?: 20 minutes What initiates a raid?: Using any type of raid tool upon a base after adverting "raid" or "assist" when followed up from the advert "raid". If no raiding tool is being used can the player steal the item from a base without an advert?: yes but only if accessible without any raid tools can that item be stolen and if the job is allowed to steal. Give an example of a valid raid advert (type it as you'd type it in-game): /advert RAID If the owner of the base is standing outside on their base entrances sidewalk as you're about to raid but haven't announced a raid yet, can you kill them?: no because no raid has been initiated, but if the raid takes place then yes because that will be considered "interfering distance". If you get arrested mid-raid can you return after your arrest?: yes but that would also be considered ending the raid once you are arrested, so you are allowed to go back but cannot raid or continue raiding and will have to wait the cool-down. If you get RDM'd are you allowed to kill the RDMer back without repercussions?: Nope A player punches somebody unprovoked and runs away, the player who got punched calls a sit - what punishment would you give the instigator?: well if its just the one offence then I probably wont punish the instigator because that person is allowed to kill the instigator upon being damaged by that player, but if it keeps happening, and escalates to a harassment sit then punishment will follow as in the "low-end harassment" criteria List all default Laws of The Land: Raiding is illegal. Money printers, drugs and explosive are illegal. Bitcoin Racks are illegal (small versions not included). Harming other players is illegal unless you are defending your base. Life Threats are illegal. Having a gun license automatically makes all weapons on the user legal whilst holstered. Kidnapping, theft and harming another player are illegal. Using dangerous weapons in public is illegal. Laws must be enforced with AOS instead of KOS unless the Police Officers life is in danger or the player is wanted. Non-default Laws must be things that players have to go out of their way to do. Laws that are seen as baiting kills or arrests are disallowed. How many bases can you own per party?: 1 A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: I will simply notify the person of the punishments of whatever rule he/she may be breaking and if continues then I would gag/mute to be more in depth in what im trying to convey then follow the common punishment procedures to whatever rules they were breaking. Can you punish a player for intentionally ruining others time, even if they say it's out of fun?: depending on if that person is breaking any of the server rules, but if not breaking the rules nor harassing players then no punishment will be giving, unless if this person has no intention to role-play, and is harassing players then punishment will occur. Give an example of a Staff abusing their powers and how you would handle it: role-playing with god-mode enabled or no-clipping into peoples bases to raid or induce a warrant etc. If I myself cant induce punishment upon the staff member then I would refer them to a higher up with evidence and will be spectating that staff member to get evidence. A player is excessively RDMing, how would you intervene/stop them from continuing and what punishment would you give?: depending on how many time that person rdmed people will affect their punishment, but if a mrdm occurs then that person would receive punishment as followed in the "mass rdm" punishments' starting off with a 3 day ban. I would immediately freeze/jail that player so no one else is killed and bring them to me to see if that person is justified upon killing players and check logs to see how many time that person was rdming people, then proceed with punishment. A Mayor enabled a lockdown without reason and is refusing to turn it off, how do you resolve this?: I will ask the mayor to end the lock-down giving verbal warning of to why that's not allowed, and if it keeps occurring then I would simply demote the mayor for no intention to role-play and minge. Extra Comments: I have many hours of staff upon other servers but I recently started playing gmod again, and since I like this server and play on it everyday I would enjoy contributing to the community and be well known among players and help out in any way I can. Incorrect, Until you advert Raid This would be considered RDM. I always try and get them to cooperate You are not expected to spend half your day with them trying to convince them but You get a better out come typically if you try and do something to get there attention and have a conversation with them Gag/Mute/Freeze them and calmly explain to them if they don't cooperate they will revive the warn (That normally will get there attention) Conclusion I have had many conversations with Dylxn and have gotten to know him pretty well, To that end I believe your attitude/personality will be conductive to your staffing ability as to your Knowledge of the rules, there are a few minor issues but nothing that can't be hammered out with some training. +1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
