I became aware of it AFTER I made the original post and made an update to it, and have even contacted staff to see if this is allowed on the server. I don't stay up to date on hotfixes as much as everybody else does. Categorically, this isn't, and never will be, cheating? To call this cheating would be a huge stretch of that term. I'd call it cheating if I had a bot set up to do things for me while I'm actually AFK.

IIRC it disables Direct3D. Honestly, as I suspected, a lot of these are very useless when stacked on top of each other

No idea what the actual standing will be on this, but it doesn't seem to give any real benefit other than just being able to stay AFK on the server with crappy computers

-64bit - Launches using 64bit branch -textmode - apparently runs the game in text mode only, meaning there's no graphics or interface to use -single_core - runs on a single CPU core -nojoy - disables joystick support -low - sets to run on low priority -nosound - this one is obvious -nod3d9ex - no idea what this one is. Apparently it isn't advised unless you're having issues -sw - no idea what this one is either -noshader/-noshaderapi - disables shaders -nopix - disables pixel shaders -novid - skips valve intro -nopreload - stops resources from loading on game start -nopreloadmodels - stops model files from being preloaded
