People kept asking for staff last night, meanwhile the server was full and 3 staff members were trying to get on to help but couldn't.

I've noticed that since your last app has been denied your activity fell of heavily. I haven't seen you at all this past week besides your usually AFKing on the server.

I think you still have potential but considering not many people have seen or interacted with you since your last staff app, there's not really any way for us to know if you've improved on the criteria you got denied for on your last application.

From speaking to you in-game you seem like a pretty nice guy who would do great as a staff member. However, that has to be a general opinion not just my own. That means you have to stick around a bit longer and make yourself known in the community, make impressions on people.

I think if you wait a bit longer and people get to know you that you will have a good shot.

Maybe I would support the idea of shitty temp grapples that can't be inventoried that have a certain amount of uses before they run out.

That way your options would be constantly buying temp grapples that run out and can't be saved or trying for the perm grapple that solves all of those problems.

That way the grapple from the crate would still be useful and desired.

Then again, imagining in my head everyone on the server all grappling around would be complete cancer visually and in terms of noise

Scenario:

You are defending your base with a minigun.

A raider finally kills you.

Minigun falls on the floor.

Teammate also defending the base picks up the minigun and continues blasting.

Rinse and Repeat until the raiders just give up

This would be cancerous to deal with as a raider. I agree it would be fun to have if you are fighting in the street or something but this would be awful for raiding bases 

Exception would maybe be disallowing the minigun and rpg from being dropped on death. If that were the case I would probably support it. Adding to that though you should NOT be able to /invholster rpgs and miniguns.

This still has no relevance at all to what I said... making it superadmin only doesn't mean it won't get used I said both in the suggestion and my reply to you that the point is to make them permapropped for people without grapples. And possibly even make them premium only so people can use them in their bases.

We have different mindsets. I think we should add useful/fun things to the server people would really enjoy but you don't want to add anything that has potential even in the slightest to be abused. People will minge and abuse anything and everything. Not adding it does not mean there will no longer be any minging or abuse.

I'm not sure if you were referring to my comment but if you were everything I said was well after this other complaint. I believe around December 3rd to whenever he went inactive

I'll add my two cents in.

The screenshots in the video of Gibs massacring everyone with an RPG, I had 2-3 reports from newer players who didn't know Gibs was staff. They made tickets saying "Gibs Mass RDM and NITRP"

As for the other claims, I out of all the times of seeing Gibs on, have never once seen him take a sit. I've only ever seen him break rules by mass RDMing, minging, hiding in no collided boxes, etc. I remember before I got staff and was playing there were tons of problems on the server and him being the only staff online, ignored all of it to continue minging. He looked at me, listened to me let him know that people were propblocking and mass RDMing, then turned and walked away and continued MRDMing.

Based on my own negative experiences with Gibs, even without context I find everything in the report believable almost without a doubt.

However, I would still like to hear Gibs defend himself. He isn't responding to anything in discord when we've been pinging him and doesn't get on the forums so I'm not sure we will hear from him but I'm still curious to hear his perspective.

These are all good tools, but no matter how beneficial they CAN be, you've also got to consider how they will be abused.
Take it from a minge, every one of these would be exceptionally easy to minge with.

Smart Weld: This would be nice to use, and I would love having access to this, but the server already has incredibly loose propclimb protection, and this would just make it worse. Also, people slamming props into the ground to make an earthquake is already a pain in the ass, so being able to do the same with dozens of props would just magnify the problem. Propblock is also incredibly annoying, so being able to move both your camera and your walls to propblock with into someone's base would be abused like all hell. (This plugin would also make the server even more vulnerable to being lagged with moving props but let's just keep that between you and me)

Ladders: No. These could be used for good, but it most likely won't. Currently, the only way to disrupt a sit would be either to propclimb or grapple up, and considering the fact that propblock is very obvious, and only very few people have grapples, this would just enable more people to interrupt sits. It would also be possible to glitch yourself into places you shouldn't be, such as other player's bases, or even the skybox. 

Map Retexturizer: Assuming it would be limited so players couldn't make the entire map a cancer material, I can't see any practical use for this outside of making bases that are almost impossible to distinguish from the world.

LED Signs: This one seems the least mingy, as long as all of the signs are nocollided, but it's already possible to place a textscreen which says anything as offensive as you want, then precision tool pushing its anchor point into a world prop, making it unidentifiable by any staff member, so I don't think that adding another form of textscreen would go too well. From what I saw in your demonstration, it doesn't seem too easy to make the sign look cancerous, but I assure you someone (most likely myself) would figure out how to make it incredibly annoying.

Every single problem you listed here I already said how it would be prevented in my initial post. Your entire text about ladders is debunked by me saying it is meant to be Superadmin+ so Jouaram can perma prop ladders around the map here and there so players without grapples can reach rooftops.

Smart Weld people will minge no matter what. Regardless of what you give them they will find a way. So taking away such an amazing tool for builders just because minges could use it when they'll minge either way seems very dumb.

Retexturizer every single thing you said was entirely irrelevant considering what I said in my suggestion and wouldn't happen or be a problem

It would be very very mingey if you allowed everyone to use it. Maybe I could see premium only but the main premise was jouaram using it on some buildings around the map for players without grapples to get up there

Describe your suggestion: Add the following two addons that are absolutely incredible.

[Smart Weld] (Amazing features including the area copy for ADV Dupe 2, but for welding.):

[Ladders] - This tool will be restricted to everyone except Super Admin+. The point of this tool is for Jouaram to place some around the map such as the spot in my video, and perma prop them so that players without grapples can reach rooftops.

[Map Retexturizer] - Once again will be restricted to everyone except Super Admin+ and the idea of this tool is to give the map a fresh look. Everything auto saves meaning Jouaram can VERY easily keep the same map with a new fresh look and it will stay.

[LED Signs] - These are an alternative that can be used to textscreens (Premium Only) that move. You can choose different styles of animation for the text as shown in the video and it opens the window for some really cool opportunities.

How will this improve the quality of Aether?:

As someone who builds a lot I feel as if Aether is currently lacking a lot of building resources. It feels sort of scalped to the brim of only necessities and even then the necessity tools are broken or disabled such as precision. I think adding these great tools that are only 2 addons anyways for 20+ tools is more than worth it. It will provide much more freedom and creativity in builds.

Night time for us is day time for him since he's UK. Pretty sure at least half if not all people in these screenshots have been dealt with already (Especially since I remember that Secret Service guy from a few days ago where a report was made and Hans closed it and said he dealt with it.

These posts are basically just advertisements for him to become staff

although it could be used to minge, more times than not I found it being used for rp fun reasons. I think it does more good than harm

Its getting repetitively annoying seeing you complain about it this much..

Nothing says that staff apps have to stay up for 7 days, they all vary depending on who it is.

As for yours specifically, if you read his reply on your app he told you that the reason you were denied was due to bad situations in the past you were involved in. Your app being up for longer and getting more +1s or -1s would not have changed that.

You don't owe anyone an explanation, IRL comes first, do what you gotta do and come back when you're ready man. 

No matter how active you are, the second you aren't there to hold someone's hand in-game and deal with the petty sits some of them call, they will consider you inactive and toss hate. Just don't take them seriously.

If youd like to report the people doing these things you can, but I don't respect using this as a way to advertise your app
