I don't know if this idea was considered before or not but I only thought of it because I've seen a lot of events rely on a system that makes you change your name to something like '/rpname event thog', which usually runs you the risk of losing the original name you kept (like I just have.) That's the system that currently works for events. It works like that so that the event moderators don't have to !bring everyone one by one because of the amount of unique names there are.

!tpjob [jobname], !bringjob [jobname] is basically the thought I had in mind mainly to help smoothen the process of events. Instead of having players change their name to something else, players can simply do something along the lines of '/job event', and from that point a simple '!bringjob event' ran by event moderators will smoothen things out

It's probably a silly idea but it's just a thought I had in mind cos I'm a little peeved I'm now stuck with the name Event thog 😛

You should definitely apply when the community knows you more. Four hours isn’t enough for someone totally new to show people who they really are and if the community were to accept you at this stage, we still wouldn’t know who you’d end up being at the end of the day. 
 

Answers really need tweaking. Read up on the handbooks and rules to really get an understanding how things work. I hope things work out when you have more of a presence! -1

I know it only seems fairly recent that I joined and became staff only to leave, but life really sucks the motivation out of things you once enjoyed. Needless to say, I've lost a lot of time to focus on Aether. I fear that my activity won't grow any more and that it's unfair to hold a moderator spot without actually even moderating. I do believe that if I had the time and motivation, I could prove to you all that I was worth accepting. I came into Aether hoping that I could lead by example and help enhance an already great community by pushing positive influence and fun gameplay in the community.

However, life goes on. I've spent most of my time on Garry's Mod (11k hours) moderating for servers and the likes. It gets eventually tiring and I'm at the end of my wits here. I'll probably regret this seeing as moderating is something I enjoy, but I find it hard to be able to connect to servers after a long time of dealing with personal stuff behind closed doors. It's a toll on my health, and Garry's Mod is just not the output that it once was.
