I want to thank all the admins for being open to discussion. Most servers you go in most will take nothing serious. I've literally had admin sits on other servers where you go into admin box and just hear a bunch of animal noises from the admins LMFAO (true story) -
It's not about pissing anyone off, or calling anyone out. If there are situations in which you don't agree with what staff is doing, theres nothing ever wrong with making a report, or just asking about it. The first time I had a run in with a staff member, and I didn't agree with the way they handled things, I reported it immediately, and questioned it completely, and it got sorted out and handled almost instantly. We're all here to game, have fun, and be degenerates, but at the same time, there are rules, and staffing for a reason. Stuff gets chaotic very quickly, or people blatantly rule break all the time. If there is something i've learned, is if you have a problem with it, or you feel uncomfortable, or something isn't adding up to you, question it. Aether is your home to so make yourself comfortable however you can. The staff here are mostly respectful, very kind people when it comes to dealing with genuine issues people are having. So don't feel bad for calling out situations you feel need to be called, they will own up to/explain situations to help better you understand. ALSO (just because I KNOW this is a thing)... Alot of people just simply don't report stuff that's "breaking the rules", whether it's chaos amongst friends, or blatant rule breaking, some people just carry on. IMO It's just part of the GMOD environment, either ignore and carry on or report and carry on. Either way rule breaking will happen effortlessly. be the change you want to see!

This does clear that build reasoning up, people would definitely complain about this when using grapples which 90% of players do

That defiantly cleared some things up for me I'm being honest and not a smart ass ik I can be and I did make a report pretty sure it got denied I had to make a new forums account I lost my old log in info also I'm just using them as examples and what has happened to me so I hope you guys don't think I'm still upset about it all but I do think some of the staff needs to be informed on the current rules and maybe start testing them on the rules and inform them that you will start testing them on the rules so they better stay up with them and if anyone fails at the test they get like another chance or two and if they still fail they get demoted down a rank or something until they can prove they know the rules just to help with keeping them informed on rules and if they don't after a couple to a few tries they get a punishment and ofc the rankings on the tests should vary on that staff members rank the higher up they are the harder the test is or something like that just a thought -
RP Only/Building signs can be accompanied with a KOS sign, but must of course follow the KOS sign rules as usual. Whoever told you you cannot was misinformed or misspoke. I was the one who asked you to remove it due to being excessive and at the time you refused so I removed it for you. Surprisingly I have a clip of this: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/kw9WrWDKE9xgurcmC?invite=cr-MSxFNmgsMjc5NTQwNzE2 Admittedly I was short with you in this clip and I should've taken you aside to explain to you why I removed it, and I sincerely apologize for that. To be clear, the material was hard on the eyes, it took up a lot of space in the tunnels which made certain mobility sweps hard to use, and spanning each region of the map is quite excessive when the width of the bridge is so large. To be clear, Bee is not allowed to do this and is constantly told to remove these props and has several warns for prop abuse/minge/etc. If I'm thinking of the same thing you're referring to Froggy made a dwarf tunnel that was a very similar principle to your bridge except it was a small pipe higher up in the air that I would consider to be rather unobstructive. It also used the wireframe material so it wasn't hard on the eyes. The only thing I can think of is that technically "ARDM" isn't it's own rule as it falls into the umbrella of RDM. Eitherway if you reported a staff member they should've directed you to the forums if you wished to follow through with report. Did that ever happen, if you recall? For a very long time this was not allowed for non-ownable doors and you could only place them adjacent to world ownable doors. This change was made about 2 weeks ago on 2025-06-03. I'm sorry that you're hearing varying things. If you ever feel a staff member made a mistake (or are unsure) definitely bring it to staff/Jouaram's attention and or make an report/appeal on the forums so that it can be properly investigated. I hope my responses are able to clear some things up for you and again I apologize for how I handled your rainbow bridge dupe at the time, Stony.
