Hello Yesman, we haven't met nor am I upkept with rules or the hand book any more but the answers to the general questions alone seems you'd be a perfect fit to the staff team, that you have really great intentions and regardless of my unkeptness of rules or the handbook, I and everyone agrees it's a good staff application with the only flaw pretty much only being the punishment time ( depending ) and reasoning for the MRDM'r . James response is really great and should be of great help, Just Monika and others have given more insight on you as a person and like I said you seem like a perfect fit for staff, good luck +1 Make sure to continue to have positive interaction with the community, stay out of trouble and keep your activity up Depending in the victims say giving an RIS warning otherwise the rdm should be punished accordingly ( staff handbook ) WW | 5m jail | 10m jail | 15m jail | 1d ban Even if you hadn't say, other servers this would probably fall under attempted rdm but as you surely already know Aether doesn't have ARDM so in this cast any damage conflicted by another player with out RP justified reasoning would fall under rdm ( this one isn't wrong other then, on Aether Networks it's Written Warning, it had used to be Verbal Warning but it was changed over a year ago now but just felt adding some say to this answer )

Last time you were staff was Mar 2, 2022 at 5:33 PM according to the reason being you hadn't taken barely any tickets for 4 weeks according to trello, I don't know the reason behind so or if you had at least let Jouaram or higher up's know but that's not necessarily a reason to give a -1. It's more so how long it's been since you were staff Another thing is your low activity, and surely low communinity engagement, most people around when you last staffed have moved on at least from Aether Networks if not Garry's Mod let alone Dark RP I don't believe we've met, neither do I believe I've seen your previous capabilities at staffing, so I can't have any say for any of that either If you have good intentions, go for positive involvement and intraction, highten your activity, if needed to study staff handbook and rules more go for it, especially when making a new application as I believe you should restart as tmod also Good luck---- -1

+1 I've known Novva since 2021 when Retribution had it's "revamp" and Aether was still fairly new, unfortunately, I can't access my old account so this is my new one. If anyone hasn't interacted with Novva, I will vouch for him. He is an amazing individual and knows the rules very well. I fully believe that Novva is probably the best suited to become staff on the server and if I could, I would give him a +20. Good luck Novva and I hope you become staff, you definitely deserve the position. Also, the app is good, very nicely constructed.

Oh hey it's the tunnel rat base guy lol James basically said the major issue I wanted to point out. We want players to stay on the server. We want to feel like a welcoming community. But we all fuck up from time to time. Situations arise and you have got to be 100% certain before handing out punishments before just pulling the trigger. Our rules and guidelines will give you the information needed on how to proceed with a player who is just MRDMing. Aside from that, I've talked with you a few times and you seem to always be listening to advice given from other players and staff. I personally have had no issues with you and you are a very open minded person from our few talks. Take James advice from the end of his decision and I think you'd do fine. +1

Wish more people had this mindset. Anyways, minus the issue that Zenie pointed out, I haven't interacted with you too much in game. But your app looks good. No real issues I have seen, plus having active staff in the late nights when most of us are AFK/asleep for work/busy with real life is always needed, so why not? +1

As staff we do not aim to discourage players from coming back. if that were the case there would be nobody on the server because no player is perfect and no player is always able to stay out of trouble. That’s why we have punishment guidelines and they should be explained to the player while punishment is given if necessary. Staff should always be making sure that someone is actually MRDMing before asking “why and just banning them” because they may not in every situation be MRDMing. You must be thorough with the logs and look at both sides of the situation before coming to the decision to ban. Along with the “Rules” that are available for everyone to read there is also a “Staff Handbook” that will pretty well cover the punishment guidelines for stuff like MRDM, RDM/ Revenge RDM, etc. Overall it’s a pretty good app i’ve had some good interactions with you around when you first joined i honestly thought you were going to be a minge at first glance but i was able to communicate with you very well about your basing situation and you gladly listened and fixed things as i explained them to you which was a nice surprise. While you do meet the playtime requirement the playtime is a little concerning for me and that’s nothing against you really just that you haven’t been around very long. I have not had the chance to check your warnings yet but overall i think you have a positive attitude towards the server currently and with other players i haven’t heard about or witnessed any bad interactions with you yet, i think if you manage to stay active, stay out of trouble, read up on the staff handbook a little, at least glance at it…. you’ve got a fair chance at making tmod +1 Good Luck.

I would immediately contact a higher up and record what is happening. A player is excessively RDMing, how would you intervene/stop them from continuing and what punishment would you give?: I would bring them the admin land, freeze them let them know what they are doing wrong warn them for MRDM, and ban them according to previous warns. A Mayor enabled a lockdown without reason and is refusing to turn it off, how do you resolve this?: I would bring the mayor and let them know that they can't be doing lockdowns for no reason if they refuse to cooperate I would warn them for job abuse and possibly NITRP depending on the situation and past warns.
