Mental health always comes first and I'm glad that you've made the decision to resign from staff rather than force yourself through.  Take care mate.

For future reference, you should try PMing any staff that you have a hit on to TP to you and most staffs I've seen are willing to comply if they aren't busy with staff related stuff. Making an admin ticket itself stating, " got a question for you regarding a rule can u tp me" let alone  saying slurs is the quickest way to get warn for wasting staff time on any server. If they're busy, just !cancelhit and move on.

Making it easier to prestige based on your suggestion would actually cause more harm than good as it would demotivate the individual to continue leveling and prestiging in general. Most players I've met and interacted with enjoy the process of level at a decent -> challenging pace and enjoy the thrill of it as it feels more rewarding.
