You have good rule knowledge, which I’ve learned from personal experiences with you. You also from what I’ve seen know really well when to enforce the rules, and when to show leniency and compassion. However, this application seems a bit rushed with answers that lack depth and show character, which I know you have plenty of.  Answering just Yes or No shows little effort put into the application. Along with this your current low playtime shows you haven’t been back long, which I can look past given my interactions with you, but you should still put time into building your hours and some community support.

Unfortunately you did break the rules and MRDA is incredibly disruptive and malicious to other players who were just trying to play the game. I understand you are sorry about what you did and I do believe this is a genuine apology, but at the same time you need to be held accountable for your actions just like everyone else. If this ban does not get appealed then you should take this as a lesson to be much more conscientious when it comes to following the rules.

If it wasn’t RDM then yeah he should be warned and punished for NLR. But based on what’s been said Danny didn’t check if it was actually RDM because it wasn’t reported he just banned him for NLR. Which is absolutely not how things should be handled

I agree that Danny should have checked if it was RDM. Other than that I have taken dozens of sits from Korby reporting RDM and having to be told it was not RDM. His knowledge of the rules is very much lacking and I think it’s very likely that it was not RDM. Although none of it really matters as Danny seems to have not checked.

did you even check if he was RDMed? If he was RDMed he can in fact return. 
 

 

This is most definitely not how it works. A kill isn’t valid simply because it isn’t reported. If a player would simply like to move on and return to that area because it was RDM that is fine. 
 

He was not 100% positive if the kill was RDM or not? There’s plenty of reasons for a banker to kill someone in the bank, and Korby didn’t check if it was anything and just automatically assumed it was RDM.

You literally don’t know if it was RDM when you didn’t even report the death. By not reporting the death it no longer makes it RDM, so by going back right after he killed you it means you broke NLR and this ban is valid.

You report people for every little thing so why wouldn’t you report for RDM when you got killed?

It just takes a clip of last 2 minutes or whatever you set it to whenever you hit the key bind you set. They auto delete after a certain time as well. It’ll save you from getting in a lot of trouble in situations like this

I think sure logs dont lie but i also believe you should determine a warn not purely off logs but also someones story. I was there with him and while i was building what i personally saw was the hitman shot at me, i dont think he did hit but he did shoot at me. To which i shot back as did snarky. The fact that he went out of his way to purposely get snarky warned despite never interacting with him before out of something purely accidental, i mean thats unreasonable. I can understand if like him and snarky had beef, but they never interacted before. I will end this by saying i do think you guys get some sort of pleasure out of ban/warning/whatever someone and i dont think its very fair for you to ban snarky after every single little slip up. But life isnt fair. Just reconsider and maybe give him a clean slate. Keep in mind this is a video game and at the end of the day he isnt doing much harm to anyone. Give him room to learn instead of penalizing him for little things. But thats it. Hopefully something comes out of this. 

I really do appreciate the effort, thought, and passion you put into these posts. The staff guidelines state that after your 3rd RDM offense, every repeated offense after that is a 1 day ban. There doesn’t seem to be a ton of context in this situation, so ideally we would need clips of what happened. If you are unable to take a clip of what happened than you need to wait for that person to damage you before you attack them back. This will likely be denied and the ban waited out because it’s just your guys word against logs, which we will always take logs as the fact.

We don't want to punish you and ban you There's not a lot of joy/fun in banning people But you have to up Your Game and get better at understanding how the rules/systems work here. I Sincerely hope you do that so You can continue to be a part of this community But That is ultimately up to you.

Agreed. Our main goal is making sure you and others have fun, and if you are disrupting that for other players you will get in trouble for it. Best thing you can do is take responsibility for your actions and try to improve yourself.

to address the spawnkilling (which I already didn't really have that much of a problem with), I suggest a few second grace period in which a freshly spawned player can run around and switch weps, but cannot harm others, and cannot be harmed? that way you have a few moments to reposition, heal, give yourself armor, whatever you need to do - but you can't kill unless your spawn grace is up.

I think a spawn grace period is probably the best solution and easiest to implement. 10-15 seconds to heal/armor up and get whatever weapon you want out seems reasonable, with it ending as soon as you shoot your gun if you’re ready before the timer is up.

After Looking At Warns He Has Had 3+ Rdm Sits Within the Last Month With Bans Included.
So the Next one i would have done 3d ban But L2AP Doubled it, I Told Jerma To Do either 6 or 7 day ban And He Chose 7. I Dont really see it as Unfair Due To All the Warning that have been Collecting and Pw's.

+1 this should’ve at most been a 2 day ban and I would give him the benefit of the doubt on the LTAP. Internet issues happen and a week long ban would be rough for what very much could’ve been an accident/out of the players control.
