Let me jog your memory, you received countless warnings and bans to stop which you did not follow. Your main account was permanently banned. You then began creating alts as well as playing along with a different persona for them in an attempt to mask it. We would actually usually uncover it was you because you were unable to control your classic toxic behavior and would confirm with an IP check.  Not only were you alting to play you were alting to actively continue to be toxic.

Again, I really hope you changed like you mentioned but the context of your previous behavior was so horrendous I do not believe it warrants ever being unbanned especially of how much of a threat to the community you were. 

You were literally one the worst humans out of thousands of players I have ever interacted with in the history of this server. You countless time created at least 10-15 alts and made entire personas around them towards the end but you consistently not only exploited but bragged about exploiting and this behavior continued over a MULTI YEAR period. Not only did you exploit and entirely run community driven events but you were unbelievably toxic and relentless straight up crual to players especially younger ones.

I truly hope you change like you mentioned but the fact the cancerous behavior you displayed extended for a multi year period I dont believe you have changed and even if you have (which I hope) the damage you have done is so great that it cannot be undone. You were an active plague on the server for years and I still believe you being on the server is a legitimate threat to the wellbeing of the playerbase.

so what was your assumption when you started the MRDM? I probably wont get a punishment this time after mass rdming and I will be able to leave immediately? there is not a shot that sit over MRDM would take thicc more then 60 seconds to take care of. If you need to go hang out with your friends and are pressed for time possibly try not mass rdming before you need to leave and instead just disconnecting and turning your computer off.

If this is an accurate reflection of what occurred this is a poorly conducted sit and is clearly against staff rules but both sides need to be heard.

How will this improve the quality of Aether?: I don't even play the server actively anymore so I'm not completely sure of the impact its had so far however all I've heard from people is complaints I was under the impression this economy patch was going to give more buying power to money which it did however it made grinding money way harder (I've been told crates are about 50% off however you make about 15-20% of the cash you used to make) adding more incentives to buying ab (weapons / shard bundles) and ab recently becoming cheaper leaves a clear message to the community need I say more

 

at the end of the day its a video game the best option to get ahead in the game shouldn't be to get a real life job and spend your paycheck on the server

 

again I don't play anymore this thread is based off community feedback to me personally and what I've observed recently community feedback here is important

I don't think this is a fair argument and also is not realistic and honestly you are not actualizing what "getting ahead" means. Too often I see people in this server confuse what there money is being spent on.

Hear me out

There is no "goal" of this server, you paying money doesn't get "ahead" or beat anything

So many people play this server  for so many unbelievably different reasons like building, roleplaying, playing all the different jobs or sometimes just even socializing. You looking at this as getting "ahead" is you perceiving the point of the server as a popularity competition to see who has the most perms or the rarest items and honestly getting to the point where your playing it for all the wrong reasons.

Sure, they give a rush when you get them and sometimes a slight edge in select PVP situations (often not after rebalances) but that's not what this game is even about.

I completely understand your frustration of the current job system and that you might feel its unfair versus paid for AB but honestly in the wide scheme of things this is how a absolutely massive amount of popular internet games work. Runescape, world of warcraft, EVE Online the list goes on. There will ALWAYS be a way for users to pay there way out of doing work like the way the game mechanics allow you to, the only difference here is there an element of gambling included which I don't think I need to even explain how relevant it is in games today.

Lets take an example, what would happen if this was not a feature? no IRL money being able to be spent in game, just strictly grinding. Before Aether there was a server called retribution RP and had all the mechanics with crates, trading, rarity etc and you know what happened? even though it was STRICTLY not allowed and heavily enforced (perm bans if caught) people IMMEDIATELY began IRL trading and setting up literal black markets to buy items for IRL currency.

At the end of the day, this servers updates, content releases, fixes and constant community management is not and will never be a free thing, there are costs involved with this. Why would you instead of try to ban IRL trading just allow it and use it for the upkeep of the server? it makes complete sense




This constant argument of "economy sucks because you can spend IRL money" is just a completely unrealistic outlook on this server and game and honestly if that is your primary concern you are playing this game for the wrong reason

The argument of "jobs are unbalanced with crate prices" on the other hand is a fair one

Neco snark is not suggestive fetishized furry content, pretty plain and simple. Smirking content is far from the only content sent in regards to furry content that has been posted.

I don’t see how Neco snark could be considered fetish content. What your missing is all of the context, countless time other content before has been much more NSFW so the rule was put in place disallowing all of it. This accompanied by his response of someone grabbing there crotch shows zero care for his actions.

if some of it is allowed, all of it is allowed and vice versa. Again, a “bug report” post that is obviously trying to stir the pot and start drama and not a legitimate complaint would be the worst possible place to play “devils advocate” 

there is a place for suggestions for rule changes or staff reports, this is not it.

The problem is you are playing the "what about" game, if you had a legitimate complaint about a staffs behavior or you think rules were applied or enforced incorrectly you should take them to the server owner or post it as a legitimate staff report, posting it as a "bug report" just devalues the legitmacy of your claim and kind of shows your just intentionally stirring the pot trying to start more drama.

You are long time member of the community and you absolutely know the way a legitimate report should be handled


If you have a complaint it is handled by Jouaram or in the "Player/Staff Reports", I think there is a pretty clear line between furry porn and a dr disrespect gif but if you feel otherwise feel free to absolutely make a report.

Incorrect, I enforce rules broken where and when I see them, NSFW and fetishized content is not allowed, if I see it I will delete it and issue punishments. DM’s are DM’s and off the server, if someone is intentionally messaging you in a way that you don’t want you should block them and if you feel it was extremely inappropriate report it to jouaram.

Don’t know what to tell ya, I think you need to move on from posting furry content after you have been both told and had a rule made that it is not allowed. Also, content is relevant, all gifs posted were posted before any rule regarding the posting of furry content was not allowed.

you can’t post furry content and then dm staff pictures of people grabbing genitals, you have a long history on this server of pushing the envelope with nsfw and unacceptable content.

again, all negative reactionary content was posted previous to us instating a rule against all. Also posting borderline furry pornography then being surprised/upset when people have a negative reaction is a thought pretty far from reality.

end of the day, stop posting fetishized content,stop trying to start fights/drama intentionally and stop sending staff people grabbing there crotch, it is behavior outlined in the rules as not being allowed. You choose to continue to post suggestive furry content countless time and time again, there is an active rule against this content yet you posted it. You also tried to intentionally instigate an argument. 
 

then when I notified you this behavior is unacceptable your replied with more nsfw content. There are places for the content you posted and intentionally trying to start fights and it’s not the aether discord.
 

The behavior you displayed on aether was not only unacceptable on a single instance but a continued display for over half a year of unacceptable behavior only continuing to grow more and more abusive, toxic and anti semitic as time went on. You were given far more chances then almost all other players would be and given the benefit of the doubt on many occasions to the point you were bullying individual players intentionally to the point where they were crying while you laughed about it, intentionally attempting to break/ruin server run events, streaming nazi videos on the TV's, and DM'ing staff extremely NSFW gore videos. 

Being apart of this community is a privilege, and the continued carelessness and continuations of your actions show you are not someone who absolutely should not have such a privilege.

It is permissible to demote if staff do not take your sit within 15 minutes, as staff do afk for aetherburcks just like players do.

Regardless, this definitely was not a valid enough reason to demote and the offending player has been warned for doing so.
