Suggestion: A new type of trivia

How will this improve the quality of Aether?: A new type of scrabble trivia, something like "[Aether Trivia] The first person to solve "lkiM" receives $750,000 and +5,000xp". Think it would be a pretty cool idea to add a bunch of different types of words and small phrases for everybody to race to unscramble.

(to go along with the current trivia, not to replace it)

You're a pretty laid back guy, and our interactions over the last week have been more than hilarious. Although there's a couple spots that lack detail on the application, I don't think it's anything that can't be fixed through the trial phase. Definitely continue to go over the staff handbook while your application is up that way you're well acquainted with the rules and punishments if the time ever comes. Touch up the application, stay out of trouble, and continue consistent activity and I'll have no problems giving you a +1.

I'm not sure what you're talking about me breaking the rules lol, I engage in random combat with consenting friends who I've been doing this with for months. I don't just randomly mass, break NLR or anything of what you're trying to say.
I explained to you that your comments are unwelcomed on Aether and that you needed to remove your laws or I was going to set you back to citizen, taking note earlier in the sit you had told me "since you're here get to suckin'". I don't think anybody would appreciate your disgusting comments, you just need to keep them to yourself. I had nothing to do with the sit with you, pecker and bakkula, but you still insisted on targeting me saying I was a power tripping new staff member and a bunch of other crazy nonsense.

You also see the rules every time you load into the server, it is not my job to make sure that you read them and make yourself acquainted with rules, just that you follow them. Which you did not.

I tried to be more than lenient with you, I have no idea why you began to target me since all I did was shut down an argument in OOC. I didn't want to mute you when you were spamming chat with non-sense arguments that pertained to you and one other; you said you were going to make a report so I just instructed you to do so so that it can be dealt with officially here.
The NSFW/Weird Comments came from you telling me to "get to suckin" and to "suck your dick from taint to tip", definitely not something you can just freely say to anyone on Aether.
The NiTRP is from you telling me that you're going to use your job to throw slander comments at myself and other staff members, only after I return you would you readd these laws that just have weird/gross comments that nobody else but you cares for. The entire time I was trying to talk with you, you just came off very leading and cocky showing absolutely no care for what I was trying to explain what you can/cannot do. I wasn't going to carry on a sit that was already far longer than it should have been re-explaining the rules over and over again while you're trying to hit me with hateful comments.

If you are unbanned from the server, it's my suggestion that you stay banned on Discord and forums indefinitely. I know way to little about this situation to be able to comfortably +1 it; I believe people change over long periods of time, but since we don't know each other I have no judge of character with you besides what Jouaram said.

What was the reason for the ban? What was the previous perm ban?

• When Staffing did you cause any issues that were brought up to you by another Staff member? If so, what?: There were no issues that I am aware about.
• Are you currently happy with your activity on the server and Forums as a player?: Yessir, my activity never really dropped off besides when I was on vacation.
• Have you read the most up to date rules and Staff Handbook?: Could probably recite them tbh.
• Are you certain you will be able to staff for 5 hours a week and finish 15 sits a week?: Yeah I find this to be no issue at all. Mainly left because I didn't want to burn myself out completely, during my break I've been able to get back into the server way more as a player and not just as a staff member, my only concern was being rerank'd so I wanted to leave on a good note until I felt that I could come back and manage both playing and staffing.

Spectating is one of the moderators abilities, I do not find it abnormal to spectate a player such as yourself.

only let trusted people have staff.  you can also easily make a log that shows when people refund stuff to track it lol

I don't understand how many weapons you're carrying around for you to think there needs to be a whole system to do refunds, yeah it's a neat idea but it would generally be rendered useless cause for the sake of time most would still just drop money. My entire year of staffing I just created a bind that dropped $500,000 and I never once had someone that needed more due to losing a single gun. This really just isn't needed, we can take our players at their word when they say they lost a shotgun, an RPG, or whatever it may be. If the staff member that you're dealing with cannot refund your weapon, you may create a Discord support ticket requesting funds.

Making a menu that gives staff permissions to refund items, that also links to logs and players inventory's and all that just seems like too much for what it would be used for.

Imo this is more than just following a bad law, anytime anyone would return to the area where you killed them you'd immediately start screaming your head off about how people are assaulting one another and jay-walking, and then you'd just gun them down. You killed me twice, for absolutely no reason; I wasn't even in the street I was just watching to see what you'd do.
Outside of this scenario I believe you've had very little intentions on actually roleplaying all day. We had a situation earlier this evening where you killed me twice for absolutely no reason, resulting in you getting warned; but even on top of this warn you still acted very eager to catch a kill any chance you could and most times were without cause.

Hype to see! Emiy was an awesome asset to the staff team, busting out hella sits weekly up until they resigned. I believe with a little time getting re-acquainted with guidelines/rules it'll be like you almost never left!

I can see why it sounds like it'd be a good idea, but I feel like something else should take its place saying that there is a active purge ongoing so that players do not forget that theirs is toggled off and start to create reports thinking that they're being RDM'd. After long enough, I'm sure this wouldn't even be a huge issue so I'll give it a +1 if doable.

What're other warns like? If you're not a mingy player then maybe permanent ban can be lightened up to like a a month ban; though you did put players at risk when posting these links whether they work or not, best case scenario for if someone who didn't know the consequences to downloading from weird sites is that the hacks do work. But you've made it a point to make yourself known on the forums and have been doing so for a little while, alongside that you've also been semi-active in the discord from the seems of things; personally I don't think the player should be removed from the server permanently.
I am not saying that I don't agree with Thicc and the ban, for if a random player joined and posted a link like that I'd 100% say keep the perm ban. I believe you made a joke that ended you in a bad situation, and that if you understand the wrongdoing here and agree going forward you'll keep that behavior outside of the community than I think it's something that can be moved on from.
