maybe make an appliable-via-forums rank called builder+ and only the most trusted builders can get access to more props?

This kind of thing from my experience has only led to jealousy and anger within the community, if there's going to be something as impactful as prop limit it should be available to everyone in some way.

I don't think creating a separate rank or increasing the price needs to happen for your idea to work. Generally I think an additional 10-20 props across all players would make for a pretty neat test/update for a week or so to see how it effects performance. (user: 90, builder/premium: 130).

Props already cause issues for performance both client-side and server-side (especially with prop protection as it checks every prop constantly) so progressively increasing prop limit from an already insanely high amount would be something I 100% would regret long-term especially with how harsh it'd feel on players in the future when I have to tone it back down.

This is not always an issue if not many players are on but when like for example the past weekend the server was full of active players with props down they take up a very large chunk of the CPU.

If prop limit is going to be increased I personally think in-game cash/credits is the way to go.

My point here was to make builder feel different from premium and the price hike is to keep it away from people who just want to minge as they most likely are not gonna spend $20 - $25 for something with a higher prop limit. $3 is easy for them to grab for 40 extra props.

So it would be a separate rank? I am confused

Sometimes I see goku rdm people like lux, ballsack and some other staff members. Me and ballsack often rdm each other so I assumed everyone was joking around. If goku doesent want to be rdmed he shouldn’t be rdming others.

I don't particularly agree with this, if he rdms friends and they're fine with it that doesn't mean you should also be rdming them.

It's understandable that you can simply direct the player to the staff reports section on the forums. If this was strictly an RP based situation, it would make more sense to avoid that completely by simply allowing another staff member to take over the situation. To ensure a positive outcome. New players that aren't as attached to the server could see staff taking sits against them as a major turn off. Those new players are less likely to go through the effort of forming a staff report, and simply leave the server for good.

But what would the outcome be with another staff member taking the sit? Staff do not get the normal warnings, they get much more severe punishments for intentionally breaking rules such as strikes/demotions, I see where you're coming from but I do not see a solution considering the above.

  5. Staff are told that if a report is ever made on them they HAVE to direct the player to the Forums and encourage them to report it so it can be correctly assessed, if a Staff member is taking sits against them and closing it/not doing this then they need to be reported for that as well.

  6. The ban has already expired by the looks of it, however Goku has explained the situation more clearly and if it's true that back and forth rdm is not a thing between you guys then the ban was valid although hopefully more communication can be given before a ban in the future.

As this is a report and not an appeal I will leave this open for @zig on dutyto respond their side and if he agrees with what's been said then this will be closed.

  7. In the kill logs I do see a lot of newer/less known players being killed and the fact that a few reported it also tells me that it was not you killing friends, if you want to kill people you really have to know 100% that they are okay with it beforehand. Tremor is correct in it being something that could've been dealt with swiftly if you did not leave, leaving makes it awkward and takes more time for Staff to handle it so it's your responsibility if you choose to break rules to stay and wait in the sit.

Overall I think the length is a fair one for the rules broken which you can reference on the Staff Handbook and possibly a wake up call if you still enjoy playing on the server, kill friends that are playing with you not random's as it disrupts their gameplay.

While yes it was the only directly-purchasable boss killing SWEP, it had cost at least 200k AB at the time, the saints spike however was out of a free crate during the Christmas event and had a 17% of dropping out of that crate. Now while the saint's spike isn't directly a boss killing item, it does a great job at it if not better than the helslinger.

Not gonna lie I wasn't aware of it dealing bonus damage to bosses at the extent that it is and is a bug, some will probably be upset that this gets patched but can you compare it to anything else that is intended/advertised as a boss weapon?

  9. A big reason why this wasn't 'as much' as the others is because it is the only directly-purchasable boss-killer SWEP so tons of people have/had it and for a decently cheap price compared to crate alternatives. Maybe it can be buffed I'm not sure yet I'd like to see other comments but this was the reasoning for the lower damage.

  10. I think relying on BMDs/Inventory Slots etc is not a bad thing, the only real good reason I've read so far in my opinion is the fact that you cannot open your inventory with TFA weapons due to the C menu key being used for the attachments/inspect. I think that should 100% be fixed, but currently do not see any reason to add breach juice back to the F4 Menu, it's not like it doesn't exist it's just that you have to go a step extra and pre-prepare before a raid to slow down mass-raids on newer players/crappy bases/make you at least slightly feel like there's a price to pay if you raid a base rather than nothing at all.

I also do think other raid utility should receive a buff and be more useful based around the average bases and time to kill in the server, but this is easier said than done.

You have been a solid member of the Community for a long time and have gained a lot of good Community Feedback; I do need you to be 100% on your A-Game in terms of sacrificing gameplay to help others and keeping a good attitude if you do that then you should do great. Good luck!

You have persisted well and kept good activity whilst creating a good environment for Aether; you have owned up to previous mistakes and hopefully have learned from them. Show us what you're capable of this time and good luck!

  13. The early levels require would require almost no XP orbs to go through if XP carries over. I do think it'd feel much better for the average player if their XP wasn't wasted and carried over but I think XP orbs would need to be tweaked to compensate for this if it was added otherwise it'd make levels 1-999 pretty much redundant which is kind of a motivator for *NEW players, of course all old/regular/super active players blast through the levels so this doesn't really concern them as much.

The only tweak I can think of on the top of my head to make this viable without making xp orbs even less sought after would be to have them scale with your levels giving more xp the higher level you are; I am open to other ideas/opinions though.
