  1. -/+ Neutral on this app, here's why; Seem to understand basic rules of the server and more You are a chill guy in game and seem mature, I think with a lot of time on the server and revised staff app you could make it in to the staff team If you need any references on making the app alone I would check out the staff accepted page here to get a better understanding on how to make a detailed staff application in the future/present. SO GET TO EDITING! Sincerely, Oogawuh
  2. +1 The app is alright not the most detailed but other than that, you are older so that is a huge plus 1
  3. + Agreed with Victus and other staff above, Sunnysun could be great from all the bans he has I think he knows a thing or two now about the staffing rules now to follow them with proper guidance, sunny sun might have a chance
  4. Sorry for the inconvenience of that matter but with all due respect I was trying to face my day to day on my IRL situation and I didn't want everyone to know my situation. Everyone has their demons they have to face, but now that is all behind me I wanna be apart of the team again and help out with the server, and I have been getting my activity up as much as I can as this staff app is up. I apologize for being short with the team, but like I said that is behind me and on my feet again. So just keep an open mind.
  5. AetherNetwork.gg Staff Application In-Game Name (List ALL variations): snOogla, AN boOOGAlee Age: 21 Steam ID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:1:98918627 Discord Tag: daguyky#6969 Total Playtime (Type !time in-game): 1 Week 3 Days Timezone: EST Steam Profile (a link): https://steamcommunity.com/id/slipperie/ Times you're most active (The rough times you are able to be most active): 2-3 hours, end of the day/nights around 6-7 o'clock EST DarkRP General Questions How can you contribute to Aether?: I was a Vet Mod before, but due to work and moving out of the house and back in the house again I was limited to only so much time, but since I was able to move on with that and now I want to come back to the staff team and contribute more than just being a Vet Mod and go further. I want to be able to host events again every week and take on the plethora of sits again. I will contribute to the staff meetings, listening to any constructive criticism from anyone mods or not. Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible? (Yes/No): Yes Are you willing to listen to any Staff member guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to? (Yes/No): For sure Are you certain you will be able to staff for several hours a week? (Yes/No): I will get back to the staff grind for sure, I went MIA due to the reasons above but I will make sure to not do that again DarkRP Rule Questions Raids can last how long?: 10 Minutes What initiates a raid?: Lockpicking, Killing or Using a fading door bomb, and yes of course /advert raid If the owner of the base is standing outside as you're about to raid, can you kill them?: Yes, as long they're within proximity of their base "the interfering distance" List 3 default Laws of The Land: Raiding is Illegal, shooting in public is illegal, AOS/KOS Laws must have a 10 second warning How many bases can you own per party?: 1 A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: A player who refuses to cooperate in a sit usually gets a more harsher punishment, such as a longer jail time or ban time depending on previous warns that are applicable to the staff punishment guidelines. Most of the time I will mute or gag the player if they are being abusive in voice chat or text chat but never the same thing because you should at least try to get an answer out of them. You see another staff member abusing their power (Give an example of a staff abusing and how you would handle it/who you would contact): A perfect example is when a staff member becomes enraged during the sit and starts warning people without any chance to explain themselves, AKA being "short" with them, if you plan on moderating a server for someone, you need to try and be level headed as possible and make sure that the server is enjoyable as possible so people keep coming back, even after a warn or ban, etc. Another one is no clipping in a person's base to see the vantage points (spectate them as well) of their base to see where everything is and how to be proficient as possible during the raid. If any of these scenarios were to happen I would gather proof and report it directly to Jouram and or a Senior-Admin for them to deal with the perpetrator who is abusing their staff privileges. A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR (What is RDM/RDA and NLR? How do you determine if a player is breaking any of these?): RDM is when a player is killing another playing randomly without an advert or reason to kill them (Random Death Match) to determine that they are excessively RDM'ing (MRDM, Mass Random Death Match) is when they keep killing a player or players more than three times without advert or a reason to. RDA is when a law enforcement or officer of the law randomly warrants you and arrests you with out an actual reason or without evidence of issuing the warn, therefore making it a Random Arrest. NLR is the New Life Rule, new life rule for an example is when you die in a raid or an advert WITH reasoning you cannot come back to that specific location or base even if it is yours and you lost the gun fight you must wait the NLR timer of 3 minutes after your death. To determine if anyone is RDM'ing I would check the chat logs and kill logs to see if the timer matches any of the chat logs to see if there was a reasoning behind there kills if not I would warn accordingly to the Punishment Guidelines and how many offenses the perpetrator has. To check RDA, I would spectate the perpetrator to see if they're issuing random warrants for an arrest with out reason, like if they are in the PD and just were to issue a warrant without any evidence and confirm it in chat logs to issue that specific punishment in accordance to Punishment Guidelines and how many offenses the perpetrator has or made. To determine if someone is breaking NLR you would check to see if they're returning within the three minute time stamp in the logs of the death/kill and check the positions to see what location they're at and if they're causing damage to the player raiding the base or defending themselves from the person breaking NLR to come back and get Revenge on the person with a reason to kill them or during a raid before the three minutes. Extra Comments: I missed you all and I hope I can come back stronger and better than ever before, peace and love y'all, EDIT: I have been getting my playtime up for this week, and plan on to continue doing so!
  6. this is amazing Jouaram you gotta give him owner Sike, this is a fat -1 For obvious reasons
  7. +/- + Active on the server, seen him on almost every day + Fair to players and good attitude most of the time - Bad staff application, not clear enough detail on situations P.S. - I will keep up to date on this forum and update each time I encounter a sit with you or encounter you in general.
  8. -/+ + Never had a problem with you in game + Solid staff application, not too much and not too little detail + Seems mature in game + I think he would genuinely do well as a TMod - Play time really only matter on this server and not Ret, I’m happy to see that you were apart of the original server, but it really only matters for this one
  9. +1 Just make this man a TMod He's friendly and active in game, Cooperative and sincere, Smart and fun to talk to Who doesn't know this guy!
  10. +1 I see you a lot in game, I think with good mentoring you'd do good as staff Friendly/Cooperative in game Good Luck -You have a lot of warns in game but they're all pretty old I don't think you have ill intent towards the server
  11. -1 I believe you're intentions are good, but from dealing with you in game you don't really have a strong understanding of the rules of the server which is very important through TMod phase because staff will be reviewing you during this phase, this phase you should have a very strong understanding of the rules, so I would say you should get your play time up and familiarize your self with the rules. Another thing your staff app is so vague, almost little to no detail of what you would do in certain situations for an example the uncooperative players in sits, give strong detail. Otherwise good luck I hope you take this as constructive criticism and nothing else, thank you. EDIT: -/+ I do believe that you will make it to the next TMod phase, I am making this neutral (inclined for positive). After seeing you in game and realizing that you’re picking up the rules on the server I believe that you will have a strong understanding of the server rules, now if you do get this position as TMod I will do my best to make sure you follow punishment guidelines when warning/banning people, therefore I hope you get TMod
  12. +1 Here's why; I agree as well with Bryan because from playing with him in game he is a great person to speak to and knows the rules of the server.
  13. Okay I’m gonna have to post you up on the court later 😤
  14. +1 Here's why; Very mature in game Friendly and knows the rules I believe he would be a great addition to the team
  15. Played with him in game and he didn't remember me 😞
  16. To be fair, I have not seen you on that much either.
  17. In-Game Name (List ALL variations): Oogla , oOgLa Age: 21 Steam ID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:1:98918627 Discord Tag: daguyky#4301 Total Playtime (Type !time in-game): 4 days 13 hours Timezone: EST Steam Profile (a link): https://steamcommunity.com/id/slipperie/ Times you're most active (The rough times you are able to be most active): Anytime of the week after 2:30 PM EST, On the weekends its any time DarkRP General Questions How can you contribute to Aether?: I can contribute to Aether through play time, I also have outplayed recording my game at all times so I can submit hard evidence against anyone who is MRDM, RDA, Hacking, etc and reinforcing the rules to give players the best experience possible moderator or not. I have roughly over 720 hours on GMOD, I grew up playing this game/gamemode "DarkRP" since I was about 14-15 y/o so I have a considerable amount of knowledge of the game itself and the coding to help with additions or expansions to server, if anything is still the same I presume. I am a very patient individual as well so I can handle a lot of sits and help out the team wherever need be. I am a team player I would like to be apart of this server to help out and generate new ideas to the server Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible? (Yes/No): Yes Are you willing to listen to any Staff member guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to? (Yes/No): Yes Are you certain you will be able to staff for several hours a week? (Yes/No): Yes DarkRP Rule Questions Raids can last how long?: No more than 10 minutes What initiates a raid?: /advert Raid or /advert PD Raid If the owner of the base is standing outside as you're about to raid, can you kill them?: Yes as long as the owner of the base is within close proximity (aka interfering distance), such as the same side walk the base is based on, not across the street not down the road, he has to be close to his base. If the player that is raiding that base is just trying to look for an excuse to kill the owner from far is RDM List 3 default Laws of The Land: Shooting in public is illegal, Kidnapping, theft or harming others is illegal money printers, drugs and explosives are illegal, Murder is illegal How many bases can you own per party?: You can only have one base per party, no more or no less A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: Gag them if they're minging or micspamming/non stop talking or mute them if they're spamming chat, I wouldn't do both at the same time because they might calm down and I can hopefully get an answer out of them for the reason why the are acting the way that they are, but if they don't I would kick them from the server for an hour or jail them for 10 minutes, if they are consistently repeating the same form of behavior I would kick them from the server for an hour or so, if the same person joins back to do the same thing, 3 day ban. You see another staff member abusing their power (Give an example of a staff abusing and how you would handle it/who you would contact): The most common power that staff abuse is their god mode, some times it happens unintentionally and forget that its still on, if this is the case I would ask them to take it off god mode, and usually 9/10 people who unintentionally have it on would take it off. Now if it is unintentional and they're abusing their god mode and raiding bases with it on, I would contact Jouaram or NX Beth or any of the higher up administrators immediately, submitted with recorded evidence on to the forums under the Player/Staff Reports page, I also have the app where I can record anything that my screen sees so it would be submitted with hard evidence. Another one is no clipping in people's bases taking things from there base such as money out of a money printer, bitcoin miner, or weed growers. If I saw this I would try to get evidence of it such as video evidence and then submit it to a higher up administrator, if I can not get any videos I would do my best to explain it through admin logs and the location that it occurred at. A player is excessively RDMing/RDAing and breaking NLR (What is RDM/RDA and NLR? How do you determine if a player is breaking any of these?): RDM = Random Death Match is when players are killing each other or a specific target for no reason 3 or more times is considered MRDM , RDA = Random Arrest is when someone is placing false warrants and arresting players or a specific player, NLR = New Life Rule is when someone dies they can not go back to that specific area for a designated amount of time, for AetherNetwork DarkRP that is 3 minutes you cannot revenge kill during these 3 minutes because its a new life, you can only go back to the base that is being raided after three minutes, any time before three minutes is considered NLR, you don't remember what happened in your last life in real life so neither should you in the game of DarkRP which is a game to RolePlay as if it were real life just with extraordinary differences LOL. To determine if a player is breaking any of these rules is to, review a victims submitted ticket, and checking the logs in a sit or if you see it personally without any adverts or warnings. To determine the punishments is specific to how excessive they are breaking these rules. To check for NLR, I would pay attention to the deaths and the times that they occured, for RDM I would also do the same but while in a sit I would ask the victim first why he was being killed by this perpetrator, usually the victim who is dying the most is the one to call the sit, so the honesty level of him telling the truth would be a bit higher than the guy killing him. RDA I would check who is arresting the most from the logs and ask him why he was arresting everyone that he arrested, depending if the sit is called, or if I see it happen I would not just go and target someone because of the logs this one could be tricky though depending on the Mayor's laws of the land. Edit comments: Please give this a thorough read its not the exact same as the last application, I promise, I did use the last application that I did as a template I just added on to it more and revised it to make it more professional and adequate 🙂
  18. +/- Kind of leaning towards the negative, here's why; I notice that this was rushed and not a thorough application, you should try to take your time on this and actually go through and proof read your application before submitting so it looks adequate and not so vague. Also in the "edit comments" you should specify the mistakes that you made so that way people have a clear understanding of what you did prior to this application if you are going to submit the app over all. You are a nice person to get a long with in game I will give you that but like I stated before from reading this, this is a rushed application and you should take your time. EDIT: Much better of a staff app, its still kind of vague but from speaking to you in game you seem pretty chill, honest and trustful. More leaning away from the negative. Good luck my guy!
  19. +1 See him playing quite alot. This guy definitely has my support to become an admin, mature and honest, and has a decent understanding of the server rules, never seen him get in trouble in the past week since I have been playing. So I think he will be a great addition to the team! P.S. He stinks like the rest of us
  20. I agree with Dildozer here on the rules aspect, the rules you should get a little better with before you become trial mod. I like you a lot from playing with you in game.
