General Questions How can you contribute to Aether?: i can contribute to aether by showing maturity and fairness as a staff member and help the community be clean of trolls and people that arent there to play correctly on the server. Are you certain you will be able to staff for several hours a week?: yes DarkRP Rule Questions Raids can last how long?: from once you do advert raid you have 10 minutes to complete the raid What initiates a raid?: a raid is initiated by doing /advert then raid or pd raid If the owner of the base is standing outside on their base entrances sidewalk as you're about to raid but haven't announced a raid yet, can you kill them?: no it would be rdm to kill someone without adverting raid first. List all default Laws of The Land: raiding is illegal. money printers, drugs, explosives, are illegal. bitcoin racks are illegal. harming players is illegal. life threats are illegal. gun license allows players to have legal weapons. kidnapping and theft are illegal. using weapons in public that are dangerous is illegal. laws have to be enforced with aos unless the cops life is in danger or the person is wanted. non default laws are what players have to go out of their way to do. laws seen as baiting kills aren't allowed. How many bases can you own per party?: 1 base is allowed per party. A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: well from experience I would freeze the player and try to have a civil talk with the player and try to get his side of the story then I would issue an appropriate punishment, and if I don't know what to do I would consult another staff member to be sure I handle it correctly, if the player is mic spamming and wont listen i would gag the player and say what i needed to and issue a appropriate punishment. Can you punish a player for intentionally ruining others time, even if they say it's out of fun?: yes i believe that would be considered minging and the failrp, NITRP punishment would follow that. Give an example of a Staff abusing their powers and how you would handle it: Ex: a staff member is no clipping into players bases and taking money from their printers/raidables. i would pursue chain of command and let a higher up know about it to make sure it gets handled appropriately. A player is excessively RDMing, how would you intervene/stop them from continuing and what punishment would you give?: i would bring the player to me and freeze them then i would consult the hand book on punishments and check to see if the player has been warned or received a previous punishment. A Mayor enabled a lockdown without reason and is refusing to turn it off, how do you resolve this?: if the mayor issued a lockdown without warning i would try and reason with him and if he werent to listen maybe tell him mayor isnt for him and make him change his job then issue any other punishments needed.. Extra Comments: its been awhile since ive been a staff member and would like to contribute all i can to aether i enjoy the server but have noticed alot of trolling and rdming. also have had people tell me not to spend money on the server as its dying and i want to help "revive " the server. im not 100% great at applications sorry. highroller silence Posted February 5, 2022 Share Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) I havent personally seen you but I also have a career in valorant and I am not on as much in the daytime your answers are sufficient you don't seem to have anyone that has any gripes towards you, and overtime that the application is up just play more and the playtime would be no issue at all, even 3d is fine but its good to get your name out there and build up a repuation around yourself. You seem mature your answers display that also you fixed answers which shows a bit of commitment I will give the benefit of doubt here and +1 Good luck.
