I want to help out on the server. I've seen rule breakers on your server and i want to stop it. We all know that nobody likes rule breaker,hacker sometimes anticheats helps out with it. I've been on the loads of players can not be handled by the small team of staff. On some occasions, there was actually no staff online - leaving a hole server for trolls to abuse. I fully read the rules and i know i'm not a rule breaker. I'm always constantly on Garry's Mod, I currently have 1,800+ hours game time on Garry's Mod, I feel that I could better this community and put all of my experience dedicated into community.I am often on late at night when some staff are not and I witness the rule-breakers not being punished and feel the need to step in and take control of the situation. I am a gamer and I play all games all night long. Sometimes I'm serious, sometimes I like to relax and rp. Garry's Mod is full of trolls that need to be taken care of, for example Youtubers. I am very active. I play almost everyday from 1 hour to 12+ hours. I believe this will contribute to my time as Trial Moderator hugely, most of the time staff members could be busy with sits and having more moderators could free up the server admins for serious and urgent problems.I would like to be staff because I want to help other people if there is a problem and to make people's experience on Aether better. I really love to play DarkRP with people. And I really would appreciate a chance to be staff on Aether. And i will never do dumb thing on this server because I don't want make people leave Aether server forever and forget about it. Have you read the rules fully, understand and feel comfortable enforcing them as correctly as possible?: Yes. Are you willing to listen to any Staff member guide you as a Staff, even if you feel you don't need to?: Yes Are you certain you will be able to staff for several hours a week?: Yes DarkRP Rule Questions Raids can last how long?: 10 minutes. If a player in your party dies whilst raiding, how long do they have to wait to come back and raid the same base again?: They will have to wait the 20 minutes to raid the same base again. What initiates a raid?: Someone adverting raid. Ex: /advert raid If no raiding tool is being used can the player steal the item from a base without an advert?: Yes, they can steal from the items in the players base without doing "/advert raid", BUT only if they are not using any sort of raiding tools. They also have to be a job that can steal or it's fail. Give an example of a valid raid advert (type it as you'd type it in-game): /advert raid, /advert party raid, /advert pd raid If the owner of the base is standing outside on their base entrances sidewalk as you're about to raid but haven't announced a raid yet, can you kill them?: No, you can not kill the owner of the base until you /advert raid. Once you did /advert raid you can kill the owner if they are in inferring distance. If you do not advert raid then it is RDM. If you get arrested mid-raid can you return after your arrest?: No, once you get killed, arrested or you end/fail the raid the raid timer starts and you have to wait. If you get RDM'd are you allowed to kill the RDMer back without repercussions?: No, that is called RDM and if you are to be RDMed then that is when you call a sit so the staff can deal with the RDMer. A player punches somebody unprovoked and runs away, the player who got punched calls a sit - what punishment would you give the instigator?: Well if the play just does it one time then I probably wouldn’t punish the player that punched because that victim is allowed to kill the instigator upon being damaged by that player, but if it keeps happening, and escalates to a harassment sit then punishment will follow as in the "low-end harassment" criteria List all default Laws of The Land: Raiding is illegal. Money printers, drugs and explosive are illegal. Bitcoin Racks are illegal (small versions not included). Harming other players is illegal unless you are defending your base. Life Threats are illegal. Having a gun license automatically makes all weapons on the user legal whilst holstered. Kidnapping, theft and harming another player are illegal. Shooting dangerous weapons in public is illegal. Laws must be enforced with AOS instead of KOS unless the Police Officers life is in danger or the player is wanted. Non-default Laws must be things that players have to go out of their way to do. Laws that are seen as baiting kills or arrests are disallowed. The Mayor can choose to make dangerous weapons legal or illegal when owned/held but no other weapon-based laws. How many bases can you own per party?: You can only have 1 base per party. A player is refusing to co-operate with you in a staff sit, how do you handle the non-cooperative player?: : If a player was refusing by (ex. Running away, mic spamming.) I would freeze them and gag them. Once gaged I will tell them to stop mic spamming then ungag them and let them explain themselves for the reason they are in the sit. Can you punish a player for intentionally ruining others time, even if they say it's out of fun?: This would be NITRP, like for example, minging, mic spamming or just low end harassment. Give an example of a Staff abusing their powers and how you would handle it: EX: " A Staff member was flying around delete props giving false warns out" I would contact a higher member of the staff team that is higher than the abuser and send all the proof to them. A player is excessively RDMing, how would you intervene/stop them from continuing and what punishment would you give?: If a player kills a mutlipul people without any reason I would check who the player killed and determine the time between the kill/kills in the logs and find out the situation of why they killed the person and if they give a reason like "they looked at me weird" i would determine it was rdm and punish them accordingly. A Mayor enabled a lockdown without reason and is refusing to turn it off, how do you resolve this?: if the mayor issued a lockdown without warning I would try and reason with him and if he wasn’t listening maybe tell him the mayor isn't for him and make him change his job then issue any other punishments needed. Your job as a mod/staff is not to just 'punish' people but help players learn and grow and you will find some will never change and those sad cases u end up just giving up on. This Fire and Brimstone statement makes me very concerned even though you latter in this massive wall of text give a bit of a better tone of Helping the community. Conclusion Overall, your app is well done. Though your overly complicated response to 'how can you contribute to Aether leaves me wondering if you are just Sick and tired of all the crap you have to put up with at night or if you're just a power-hungry person. I meant I just would like to get the trollers/rule breaks off the server so the members that actually want to RP will have fun and not be annoyed by them then leave the server.
